Extra's: The best extra by far was the uncredited Behind the Scenes feature lasting 41:12 minutes long (sounding like it was by Hank Hoffman). This was one of the better BTS features in terms of hearing from the major players involved with making the movie, also including more footage of Savanna's infamous interracial DP. If you like the cast, this was a unique extra that should provide more stroke material and entertainment for you as it did for me. There were also the usual set of five bonus scenes from unrelated older productions including; Set On Sunrise, Haunted, Sold, Coming From Behind, and The New Girl for those of you interested. There were also trailers to shows like Debbie Does Dallas Again, Colors, Bankable, and Cherry Bomb, a text biography for the lovely Savanna Samson, a Savanna Samson photogallery, a double sided cover (with ads on the second side this time), some spam; including a commercial at the beginning of the movie, a positions room, and some spam.

Audio/Video Quality: Savanna's Been Blackmaled was presented in a 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot last year by director Bryan Xin for release by Vivid Entertainment. While not my first choice of director for such a project and the format seemed curiously behind the times, this being Bryan's first actual feature for the company (as hollered at him from the BTS director), it showed he has some potential worthy of harnessing albeit with some rough edges in need of polishing up. The first thing I noticed about the movie was that the lighting was weaker than usual; making most of the scenes, sex scenes or plot scenes, darker than I prefer. Given the physical appeal of Savanna and the others, such lighting is problematic since they have none of the hideous flaws one associates with the need for lower lighting or camera tricks (and having met each of the ladies in person several times each, I feel secure in saying this definitively). Okay, the composition of the shots was also fairly solid, Bryan making the ladies look decent in almost all cases except with regard to the shadows and lighting on this video production. The average bitrate clocked in at around the low 4 Mbps range and I saw few compression artifacts for those who care. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the bitrate being 192 Kbps and the minimal separation limited to the music if there was any at all. The vocals were a bit hollow and the music was generic but neither was terrible for a freshman effort.

Body of Review: Bryan Xin has been making porn for some years now, trying to find a niche that suits his skills as they continue to develop. His recent work for Vivid Entertainment shows him out of his element as often as not, learning on the job as he converts from generic gonzo to more scripted features and vignette driven shows. His latest release is the long awaited Savanna's Been Blackmaled; the thematic sequel to Janine's Been Blackmaled, where she did her first interracial DP. While not as big a surprise as Janine's volume in the series (keep in mind that Janine had been doing lesbian only scenes for years until she then converted all at once to various forms of men in her performances), it still proved some of the haters wrong in their assertions that Savanna was somehow off limits to the brothers. The story itself was a bit of a light blackmail theme but it was largely disposable given the strength of the sex scenes in all cases (none of them were filler scenes). The back cover said it like this: "In the second installment of the "Blackmaled" series, Vivid's bad girl Savanna Samson returns and she's got something up her ass ... literally. Savanna is a rising figure in the swimwear fashion industry and her gold-digging husband conspires with her secretary, whom he's having an affair with, and her former co-worker, to destroy Savanna's reputation and career. Director Bryan Xin presents "Savanna's Been Blackmaled" which features Savanna's first interracial double penetration." If that sounds appealing to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used that I could see:

Scene One: Morning Sex: Savanna Samson, the hotty on the front cover, was up first as she showered in a teasing fashion, feeling herself up to generate some heat before studly Tommy Gunn joined her in the bathroom. She seductively slobbed his knob, showing great care and skill, savoring the experience far better than most of the industry newcomers could only dream of offering from what I've seen. He then went to plowing her cookie, pulling all the way in and out as if to tease her a bit himself. They moved to the bed where she bounced on his cock and did PTM nicely enough, her juices free flowing before he unleashed his population pudding on her face.

Scene Two: The New Boss: Georgia Peach, dressed up in business attire that hid her fleshy curves, was up next in the restroom at work with Christian as she dropped to her knees to show him that women give good head too. Eva is a gal that typically throws herself into a scene and doesn't let up, making her well worth watching in most cases. Like Georgia, she attacked the cock orally with passion, showing that she could also add in a seductive mannerism or two that elevated the heat of the scene right from the beginning. But for the shadows and technical limitations, she was showcased rather well here, the pounding vaginal she took making me appreciate her skills all the more (especially for her PTM but her oral was clearly the best of the movie, and that in a movie full of great oral). Summary: Savanna's Been Blackmaled by director Bryan Xin for release by Vivid Entertainment was probably his best release for the company to date; largely due to the excellent casting that worked so well together. The sex was easily the selling point of the show and even with the weak plot elements getting in the way at times, I was finding the scenes to each have some solid replay, strokability, and fuck for the buck to warrant a rating of Recommended or better. The lighting could have been better and the extras were oftentimes generic but the BTS added some solid value too, making Savanna's Been Blackmaled an even better release than Janine's Been Blackmaled that so many of you found among her (Janine's) best work. I'm not a slavering fanboy of the director like some critics appear to be but he did show he could handle the bigger names well enough and with a bit more attention to detail, I expect he may someday soon show me just how good a job he can do if the budget and resources are provided in liberal amounts.
