Audio/Video Quality: Control 6 was presented in 1.78: anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for release by Handheld Pictures as distributed by Digital Playground. The lighting was reasonably solid here, as expected given this was Robby's standard type of gonzo, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question; sometimes using a POV angle before the sex took place. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby (who did all the work except for the slightest bit of polishing up by Nick "The Wiz" P. according to sources at the company and the credits) with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts (the bitrate varying but often staying near the upper 5 Mbps range). The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround (using 384 Kbps) with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any, but aside from some whispered vocals by the men, the ladies were almost always clearly heard and the thumping beat of the series theme tune.

Body of Review: Robby D. has been experimenting with his own company, Handheld Pictures, for awhile now; trying to find sexually appealing dynamics to explore that work well for him. He is largely responsible for these titles, only allowing a select handful of his associates to touch up in the smallest of ways his raw captured footage of the ladies; each of them trying to find ways to look at a variety of gals in whole new ways. His latest such release is Control 6; coming out at the end of this month and showing the kind of inventiveness the director has been awarded for increasingly of late. His talent as a director aside, the choice of ladies for the cast was superior in many ways, offering a veritable smorgasbord of ladies the fans appreciate seeing. There was no central theme here and no plot to distract your stroking pleasure, the wealth of tease offered here a nice change of pace from some of his work for Digital Playground. I would have liked to see more of Katja with another partner but the variety of talent, especially hotty Teagan Presley, made this one worth a rating of Highly Recommended. The replay value, the strokability, and the amount of quality fuck for the buck showed that this kind of "gold" as Robby often puts it, is what he's looking to offer the world when he is given more freedom. I still like his comedic adventures as Jack in the various series he shoots and his work under Celeste is often quite beautiful, but the raincoater in me finds titles like Control 6 to be cut from a different cloth; showing me that his vision is still developing but ultimately satisfying nonetheless.
