Audio/Video Quality: Ashton's Anarchy was presented in a non-anamorphic, letterboxed widescreen with an aspect ratio of about 1.78:1 as shot by director Laurent Skye/Richard Hamilton for Club Jenna. I still hope future efforts apply anamorphic widescreen HD to them but I know that the industry is in transition at this writing so we'll have to see what happens. The colors looked very accurate, the lighting was a mixture of various techniques that sometimes worked better than others, the level of grain typically minimal (nonexistent), and the composition of the shots about the same as Chanel No. 1 having in terms of making the performers look better than usual all of the time. There were no compression artifacts, no video noise, and while I would've liked more of a straightforward approach to the scenes, the movie wasn't bad looking at all. The only effect that I really didn't like was the great overuse of motion de-hancement; something some of his peers favor too strongly as well, and the jumpy editing. I know this style is practically a trademark of the company but perhaps easing up on its use would go a long way to improving the show. The only choice for audio was the basic 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio track (in 192 Kbps), this time using vocals mixed in with the loud music to enhance the heat and energy for me. Walt Jizzney handled the music and while my personal tastes run in a different direction, the thumping soundtrack had a few decent moments, even for me. There wasn't a lot of separation between the channels and the dynamic range lacked a bit but I didn't get the sense that the audio was blown off here at all, helping to elevate the quality of the production a bit.

Body of Review: Ashton Moore is one of the ladies in porn that has retired and come back a time or two, showing the world that hitting 30 does not mean ending a porn career. Recently, she has been under contract to Club Jenna and been one of the cuter gals in the stable, now freed from the contract according to online sources. Her most recent work was directed by Laurent Skye/Richard Hamilton in the form of Ashton's Anarchy; a series of five vignettes held together by a little device where Ashton is seeking help from a shrink played by Kyle Stone. The cover said it like this: "The sticky dreams invading Ashton's rest are intensifying her ordinary orderly world. The marketing hype aside, I would have greatly appreciated more of Ashton in the scenes, even if only doing other women, but I found enough heated pairings to make it a worthwhile fuck flick to enjoy more than a few times. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were not a factor here:

Scene One: Candy Manson, a busty blonde with pretty eyes and a lot of curves, was up first wearing a trampy bikini while walking up to a construction site where a shirtless Jean Val Jean came up behind her to start rubbing her ample curvature. The thumping beat of the drums led the way initially as she slobbed his knob at his knees, Jean holding her head for support as she impaled her face on his rod. It was a messy hummer and led to him laying her down to access her own juices orally, getting slightly rough as he did so. Scene Four: Roxy DeVille, a sexy little tough gal with brunette hair and a pin up look to her, was up next with Pascal St. James in a modernistic living room. Her fetish camisole looked good on her all natural body and the stripper boots a bit out of place but the separation between the channels was the best of the movie as he pawed her and she pawed back. Yeah, it was still too loud on the score but as much as there was no chemistry between them, the sultry performance she gave largely made up for it. The dynamic of the action was the same; she went to her knees and blew him with an increasing tempo before the couple boned like crazy, Pascal hanging on for the ride as he nearly exploded (he was beet red and sweaty profusely). In large part, she was the best fuck of the movie and gave some good dirty talk as she let it all hang out so loudly. The camera was too narrowly directed to fully capture her in all her glory but the ending hummer she gave (where she jerked him off into her mouth) was splendid and very appealing.

Scene Five: Sophia, another curvy gal with pretty eyes and a fine face, was up last as she was partnered up with Tommy Gunn in a dark bondage room. She had on some fine slutware and he wore black leather pants indicative of the mindset needed for the scene, the two tearing off clothing to end up with his cock in her mouth. Sophia gives great head most of the time and this scene proved no different as she aggressively worked the cock so well inside of her mouth. They then screwed on some mats above the floor, the editor missing the part where someone walked across the camera, with the gal doing vaginal and anal (though the vaginal was far more active on her part). Summary: Ashton's Anarchy by director Laurent Skye/Richard Hamilton for Club Jenna was less of a showcase for the curvy hotness of Ashton Moore than I would have liked but I can't deny that each scene had something I liked about it; a few of them proving to be particularly stroke worthy in nature. The replay and stroke value established, I rated this one as Recommended but the lack of decent extras and more than one scene featuring Ashton were nearly deal breakers for me so adjust your personal ratings accordingly. In short, Ashton's Anarchy was not particularly anarchistic but fans of straightforward fuck flicks will certainly appreciate the cast of cuties including Candy Manson, Ashton Moore, Tia Tanaka, Roxy DeVille, and Sophia so give it a look.
