Audio/Video Quality: Gina Lynn's Demons Within was presented in the newly improved 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as it was originally shot by director Travis Knight for distribution by Jules Jordan Video in HD. The lighting was decent and the fleshtones were almost always accurate with the amount of video noise minimal. The composition of the shots was such that the ladies were made to look good; enhancing them more than a little bit as Travis continues to improve his craft. The colors of the fleshtones and surroundings were accurate and the lighting plentiful which enhanced the look of the women nicely, the nod to fetish attire a given this time as the cast seemed to be heavy on role playing. There were no compression artifacts or watermarks that I could see, marking this as a step forward for his style to showcase the ladies. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio tracks in 384 Kbps were okay and I could plainly hear the vocals of the cast at all times but the music still seemed a bit lame to me; perhaps calling in an outside expert would help.

Body of Review: Gina Lynn and Travis Knight have been on a role in the last year or two thanks to their distribution deal with Jules Jordan Video as well as their desire to make better porn. While I have not seen all of their works in the past, I have seen enough to recognize this improvement as going beyond the technical matters (though these have been worked on too); typically showing a renewed interest in giving fans what they want in her movies. Their latest collaboration to come out is Gina Lynn's Demons Within; a showcase for the lustful manner in which Gina and her female friends act when given meat puppets with which to enjoy. There wasn't a lot of dialogue and there was only a passing tribute to the demon attributes listed at the beginning of the movie but like most of their work, the philosophy to keep it simple worked in most cases; all of the scenes having some stroke value. Summary: Gina Lynn's Demons Within by director Travis Knight for distribution by Jules Jordan Video was not the best work by the director but it had the added benefit of showing some spicy kink in the form of BDSM, however light in nature. In that sense, the movie's scenes were a success given their stroke and replay value; the amounts of fuck for the buck decent enough to warrant a rating of Recommended (nearly making it to the next level but for the relatively tame extras and unwillingness to take it a notch or two higher in terms of the theme. Still, Gina Lynn's Demons Within had plenty of Gina Lynn for fans to appreciate; the lady enjoying her roles as dominatrix and submissive with equal vigor so you might want to consider picking up a copy to own.
