Audio/Video Quality: Pigtails Round Asses 3 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by an uncredited director for release by Hundies as their latest release under the banner of Pure Play Media. The camera work was initially jumpy and looked like an amateur shot it, zooming in too tightly and otherwise showing a lot of extraneous movement as the gals teased and had sex. The lighting was decent most of the time, limiting the grain and video noise as a result, but the fleshtones seemed slightly off in a few cases too. I especially did not appreciate the abrupt editing job that took place here but it did look better than Pigtails Round Asses 1 to me. The DVD mastering showed no obvious edge enhancement or compression artifacts though so at least that aspect of it was decent. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 192 Kbps) with no separation and limited dynamic range; the gals moaning repetitively and the music not a factor.

Body of Review: Hundies is a company that I'm led to believe was originally strictly an internet producer that is now releasing older scenes on DVD as a means of diversifying their distribution model with the help of Pure Play Media. My experience with such scenes by other companies leads me to believe that they are typically weak on the technical values but also a source of some fine scenes by performers many of us like to see. The latest title of theirs to land in my review stack was Pigtails Round Asses 3, the sequel to Pigtails Round Asses 1 that I took a look at recently. What really drew my attention here was the selection of ladies offered up, most of them able to trip my trigger fairly easily so I went in with a positive mindset, realizing that the technical aspects were going to be weaker than average. What I found was a mixed bag but definitely worth checking out, showing some improvement by the uncredited director. That said, here is a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that the males were not even listed anywhere but no condoms were used either:

Scene One: Julia Bond, the curvy gal seen featured on the front cover well before she went overboard on her huge new tattoo, was up first as she was handed a piece of licorice before an abrupt edit showing an uncredited moper licking her admittedly appealing ass. He didn't do very much of it (a shame by the way) before rolling her over to suck his cock on the shitty little bed, losing all sorts of opportunities to capture the hotty doing some tease. Scene Two: Katarina Kat, a sexy little blonde with an all natural body, was up next in bed with a scrawny little moper named Alexander Constantino. I have found a lot to enjoy about this gal of late but I would have greatly preferred to see her in a full scene; not just an extended bit of vaginal pounding with no oral or breaks between the positions. She was active when on top of him but otherwise, her was doing all the work so while she appeared to be having an okay time, it did not translate well thanks to the edits and the limitations of the scene before it ended with a facial.

Scene Three: Maya Hills, another seriously appealing gal with a great ass, was up next as the director scanned her ass and commented about pitching a tent. The usual jump into the action had her working with a third tier guy I've seen in the past (though his bald spot was getting more prominent by far here) with the difference this time being she gave up some great head as she aggressively blew him. Summary: Pigtails Round Asses 3 by Hundies had some significant issues that bugged me but the raw energy and enthusiasm displayed by the wonderfully rich cast of females was enough for me to waiver and give the production a rating of Recommended, despite apprehensions over how the scenes were approached. The ladies might not have been at their very best but they were all quite appealing in what they did, making Pigtails Round Asses 3 even better than Pigtails Round Asses 1 in terms of strokability, replay value, and with regard to levels of fuck for the buck. Sandra Romain and Julia Bond were the peak sexual experiences here but the other ladies fared pretty well too so check it out and see what I mean when I say that some gals are good enough that even a weak director cannot kill the heat they generate.
