Extra's: The best extra was the 30:08 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that started with Krystal showing off her assets in the game room. The fooling around continued with most of the cast, with a surprise visit by a Red Light District t-shirt made during some of the end comments. The main benefit of the BTS this time was additional tease though so fans of the ass shaking fun will find a lot more stroke material to enjoy because of it. Audio/Video Quality: Phat Ass White Booty: Special Edition was presented in a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color offering as shot by director Alexander DeVoe for distribution by Jules Jordan Video. This being the second such release for the director, I figured he'd pull out all stops and while there were a number of issues on the technical side, the appeal of anamorphic widescreen made me happy I tried it out. There was a bunch more grain than I prefer to see and the picture itself seemed kind of blurry, almost as if various filters were used to limit the visual flaws of the ladies, much like some of Alex's works at WCP where he directed most of his titles before this. Still, there was a lot of creative use of the visual effects much like John Leslie provides these days so if you're into that over straightforward gonzo visuals, you may enjoy it more than I did. There did not appear to be a lot of edge enhancement, compression artifacts, or other distinctive visual flaws outside of that but the lighting did manage to produce a lot of shadows and this was definitely an area in need of work. The camera angles employed showed the ladies with an emphasis on their asses, a mixed bag considering how much some of them appeared to be flabby (which certainly appeals to a niche audience but it's not the kind of audience that will allow Alex to grow as his biography seems to think he will). The audio was a sparse 2.0 Dolby Digital (using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate) with some music and vocals that were all over the place; probably the area in biggest need of attention. There were times when I was certain that the whispered voices were not supposed to be heard and other times when I'm sure they were important elements of a scene, perhaps indicative of an aspect that Alex will address in later movies better than this.

Body of Review: Alexander DeVoe is not my favorite director at Jules Jordan Video but considering the kind of talent working there, it would be an unfair comparison. His role at the company appears to be that of the necessary black director, much like Justin Slayer is the under performing version at Evil Angel. Both have a following built up at other companies and both like women so whatever technical issues their works might have, the heat of the scenes tends to be appealing to the larger audience they get at their new companies (respectively of course). His latest title for Jules is Phat Ass White Booty: Special Edition, a double disc set of six lengthy scenes that employ a lot of tease before some very heated action with men. If you enjoy tease in your porn, this is one company that has it going on and the fact that Alexander also offers up over FIVE HOURS of material in the set sure did not hurt my opinion of it either. The idea this time was to showcase some interracial sex with black men pounding away at white women, the ladies each having a curvy and plentiful ass. If that is not great plan for success, I do not know what is. So, if you're still interested in the movie, here is a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Lana Sky, a skanky looking gal with neon red hair and a seriously shapely ass, was up first and my impression was that I would never be able to jerk off to a gal like this but this changed as her playful tease worked its magic on me. She was a fatty but I dug her moves, especially when she was joined by more physically attractive Druuna; the brunette seen on the lower left hand corner of the front cover on the stool. Druuna had similar moves but applied them in a more seductive manner, making her smoldering sexuality even more impressive as she showcased those cheeks that went on forever. Scene Two: Kiara Marie, the light haired gal featured on the right hand side of the front cover, was up next in her purple corset and black skirt by the pool. Like most of the scenes, there seemed to be a slight loss of focus and the bitrate was so low that it obviously impacted the technical values of the scene but they warmed up to each other as he directed her through the tease that showed her to her best advantage. Background noises like airplanes aside, she started working it really well; getting better with time and while I would have liked it better if he shut up to let her tease, I also got the impression that she needed the direction. One thing worth noting was that the cutoffs she was so resistant to trying on actually looked super hot in terms of her trailer trash appeal, making me long for a day when that crack was smothering my face instead of on the small screen. Soon enough, she was being played with by her partner, getting some oil applied to make her curves slick and shiny. The tease was fantastic if a bit rough around the edges, the lady not getting any cock until about the 127 minute mark of the first disc. I mention the times to show you how sweetly rich and lengthy the tease portions of the scenes were, not displaying the gals jumping right into "porn whore" mode as with so many other directors proliferating in the industry at this time (emulating, to an extent at least, Jules, Erik, and Mike; the senior directors at the company). Face sitting, dick sucking, and vaginal play were the emphasized acts, Krystal warming up slowly but soon showing a lot of energy once she was in her zone. The way she pounded herself on cock was impressive towards the end and combined with the teasing earlier portions of her work, it elevated the heat and strokability of the scene a lot. That it provided so much of it was definitely a plus in these days of cheap ass companies skimping, and the extras brought the entire running time closer to six hours of prime stroke material. The technical matters were the weak link of the chain here with the lighting and camera work in need of assistance by one of the senior guys at the company but even they could not reduce the value of the production below a rating of Highly Recommended. In short, Phat Ass White Booty: Special Edition was an appreciated step up by the director to his new status as one of the team of talented directors at Jules' company worth keeping an eye on in the future.
