Audio/Video Quality: Public Invasion 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Robert Rosenberg for Bang Bros. This is the fifth title of his that I've seen from the company and my comments about his directing skills and performance abilities are similar but he has also shown some improvement behind the camera. All of the scenes were shot by Robert in POV fashion, the camera never getting to see him as in other movies by the director. The lighting was on the low side as often as not but Robert appeared to have a firm grasp on the concept of energy before technical superiority, impressing me that he was more than a mindless meat puppet in the process. The ladies all looked fetching as he shot them and the camera angles may not have always been optimal when they were screwing but the movie did seem to handle the technical matters as well as the company usually does, if not better much of the time. The fleshtones were accurate; the grain minimal, and the overall picture quality for this reality porn title was good (the bitrate hovering around the 3 Mbps area most of the time I was paying attention). The audio was encoded in Dolby Digital stereo English (in 192 Kbps) but I did not get the impression there was any separation between the tracks when I listened to it. The music wasn't a factor outside of the menus, a good move by all involved.

Body of Review: Robert Rosenberg has been a porn performer for years now but his recent directing spree for Bang Bros showed he is a capable professional when it comes to handling point of view (POV) scenes too. His best known work for them involves public sex in the Czech Republic, the latest volume in the series being Public Invasion 4. Like Public Invasion 1, Public Invasion 2, and Public Invasion 3, the dynamic followed the same path as he would approach cute ladies in public places, get them to flash for cash, and then have sex in the open nearby. Much of the tease footage seemed realistic and unscripted; the sex lasting only as long as he could hold out with these typically heated cuties. If that sounds good to you, you might find this latest release from the company to be a cut above the pack of gonzo that gets boring after awhile. So here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Ellen, the cute topless gal on the upper left hand corner of the front cover, was up first as she sat on a wooden bench reading the newspaper on the side of a house when Robert Rosenberg approached her to ask some questions. I know the scenes all sound alike and they were since this was formulaic porn, but the scenario of public sex was always more exciting than a generic motel room. The flashing led to a blowjob and some vaginal sex, the pair stopping when outsiders walked a bit too close (showing too much interest in what was going on). Summary: Public Invasion 4 by director Robert Rosenberg for Bang Bros earned a rating of Recommended for the totality of the package offered up. The women in this volume looked hotter than those from earlier volumes in the series and showed some chemistry with the director as he got them to show the world what they had to offer for some cash on the spot; the sex almost incidental to the fun for anyone but Robert and the ladies. The replay value on such scenes tends to be higher since they do not appear as fake as most porn though I realize this is an illusion too, making Public Invasion 4 even more enjoyable than Public Invasion 1, Public Invasion 2, and Public Invasion 3 in some ways. I hope to see what else Robert comes up with in the future or if he starts shooting for DVD instead of compiling scenes from the company website for these sets as offered but either way, he showed his jovial sense of humor to be a nice alternative to the hardcore abuse porn proliferating these days.
