Extra's: The best extra was the 18:02 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Francesca Le with some help from her husband Mark Wood (even though he wasn't credited as such, his voice readily apparent to those of us watching porn for any length of time). All the ladies of the cast were given an interview with their skimpy or nonexistent attire showing them off nicely. It wasn't the best I've seen from Francesca of late but it was good fodder for the fans of the ladies. There was also a photogallery, a pop shot recap from the scenes, and a double sided DVD cover with other titles featured on the second side.

Audio/Video Quality: Sex Fiends 5 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Francesca Le for Platinum X Pictures. The lighting was very good and that helped keep the grain, video noise, and other flaws to a minimum. The fleshtones were accurate and the camera work was as solid as ever with the composition of the shots enhancing the ladies' looks all of the time. There were no compression artifacts or significant shadows to contend with so I found the picture appealing as expected; the bitrate hovering around the lower 5 Mbps area much of the time. The audio was nothing special although encoded in 2.0 Dolby Digital English and provided in a 192 Kbps offering. With the processing done in post production aside, the vocals were seemingly recorded in monaural and the music not a big factor so it wasn't a problem but it wasn't anything worth extra points either. In all, I wasn't surprised by the quality of the technical attributes of the movie given Francesca's lengthy presence in the industry and the quality control at PXP.

Body of Review: Francesca Le might be known as a performer in BDSM fuck flicks or kinky fetish outings made by her own company but she also has directed for companies like Platinum X Pictures in the recent past. Trying out new things, she has a true love of lesbian sex that is unmistakable but also enjoys a stiffy when given the opportunity to work with a big one as well. Her latest title for the company is Sex Fiends 5, a series I last saw with John Strong's Sex Fiends 1 a long time ago. The original premise of the series was to show ladies that were exceptionally kinky and outlandish, falling short for me then as it was primarily a generic gonzo movie. Now that Francesca is in charge of the series, I wondered if it would much different, PXP showing less kink in their projects of late. If you're interested in finding out the answer, you'll simply have to read the rest of the review. That said, here is a quick glimpse of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Maya Hills, the exotic hotty on the front cover of the DVD case, was up first as she teased the camera in the messy garage; showing grease and grime on her legs as the camera gave her a closer look. Summary: Sex Fiends 5 by director Francesca Le for Platinum X Pictures benefited by a healthy mix of females with a good combination of looks and sexual skills as well as Francesca's ability with a camera. The heat and chemistry levels were not always consistent but even the weakest of the scenes had a fair amount of replay and stroke value; lending an air of fuck for the buck to the show. In short, Sex Fiends 5 was better than Sex Fiends 1 by a nice margin although not the best presentation I've seen from the director in the past.
