Extra's: The extras this time included a 15:53 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Juan and D-Snoop, a photogallery, and some covers for other titles on the other side of the DVD cover. The BTS was actually pretty interesting if you're a fan of the ladies like but be forewarned that it was largely comprised of material taken during their photoshoots for the movie (not the deleted sex footage or in depth interviews). Still, it was the only extra adding value to me so while your mileage may vary, it won't vary that much.

Audio/Video Quality: Strap It On 6 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Juan Cuba for Platinum X Pictures. I'm familiar with his work at Platinum X Pictures as a behind the scenes guy and his skills as a full fledged director at various companies has been getting pretty good, even if the rough edges are slow to disappear. The lighting was only average though and this led to some issues with grain, video noise, and shadows yet he did a reasonably good job overall in presenting a solid set of visuals. The composition of the shots seemed to enhance the look of most of the ladies, showing more improvement than most of his previous works. There were no compression artifacts (though the bitrate hovered around the lower 4 Mbps range) so even the mastering of the DVD was handled well and some of you will appreciate the lack of the formerly displayed watermark of the company logo in the lower right hand corner of the screen during the show. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo (in 192 Kbps) was in English but the actual audio appeared to be shot in monaural with the processing added later on (in the mastering part of the process). The vocals were generally clear but lacked any separation or dynamic range so this is an area that Juan needs to work more on (just like most of his associates in the industry). The music starting each scene was really poor but that was probably the only real surprise for me in terms of negative technical matters, the rest being pretty decently handled.

Body of Review: Juan Cuba is a director growing in confidence and skill as seen by his work for Platinum X Pictures of late. No longer relegated to the back of the proverbial bus, Juan has been a key player in keeping the company afloat after most of their other directors jumped ship for better deals. PXP has always been known as the kinkier side of sister company RLD so it makes sense that Juan ended up working there more than the typically more mainstream gonzo company, his latest movie being Strap It On 6,a series I haven't seen since Strap It On 3. The series is best known as providing lesbian pairings that use strap on dildos and a little role playing as the main themes, no stunt cocks provided for the women to abuse as in other strap on titles. Juan seems better equipped than series creator David Luger to get the women at their best but part of this is also due to Juan's perverted side allowing him to convey a nasty element better than David's straightforward gonzo. If you're still interested, here is a quick glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, no condoms being used for those who care:

Scene One: Ashley Blue, an extreme queen of modern porn with brunette hair and a twisted mind (my own anecdotes about her aside, she is a lot of fun to get to know), was up first with Heather Gables as Ashley dominated her gal pal on the living room couch. Scene Two: Chelsie Rae, a sexy little cutie with light hair and nice curvy, was up next as she walked along the roadway wearing white shoes and a blue jean skirt with no top, until she made it to the house with a dominant Lela Star waiting for her. Scene Four: Nautica Thorn and Rachel Starr, the gals on the front cover, were up next as they followed the tease dynamic inside the well known porn house setting with Nautica doing some stylish dancing in black & white. Nautica had the "golden ticket" in the form of her strap on dildo, slowly walking over to Rachel who was masturbating on the floor. Rachel's finely shaped ass and pretty blue eyes aside; she seemed compliant and ready to rumble as she followed instructions willingly, getting off by the appearance she gave. Nautica's usual girlish demeanor went out the window as she took charge too, showing me why the pair were featured on the front cover over all the others. The gals soon reverted to form though and after some domination action, they took up more equal roles using a variety of toys (a wider variety than the others in the movie used by far). Nautica gave the impression at one point early in her receiving head that she was having an orgasm too, not nearly as fake as some of the cuties here, but this was a scene where both did a fine job earning their cover spot before their seductive ending kissing.

Scene Five: Princess Donna, a curvy brunette "tough" gal, was up last with skinny blond Sarah Jane Ceylon, in the usual house. The living room was again the focal point of the action, with Donna feeling her fake cock as though it were real (and Juan acting like he wanted some of it). Donna might not be the cutest gal of the movie but she was well suited for the role as Mistress, working over her slave hard as the gal went head down and ass up to show an anal tail as Donna spanked her pussy. The ATM and other tricks were okay but I did not get into the more realistic D/s relationship as portrayed this time since Sarah seemed to be doing it out of coercion. Sexually, they did the same oral and penetrative acts expected of them though so while the chemistry varied more for them here, I got the impression that they were talented in providing sexual services. For the record, Donna did not seem willing to enjoy getting penetrated and Sarah also acted as a human ashtray, factors that made me wish the scene was not the ending bit of action (and despite the comments made during the ending credits, I did not believe Sarah saying how much she liked it).

Summary: Strap It On 6 by director Juan Cuba for Platinum X Pictures had no really bad scenes but few that really stood out as high end either. Some of the ladies looked better and others displayed an affinity for sex toys & the role playing needed to pull off show like this, leading me to consider a rating of Recommended as the best compromise. If you enjoy lesbian sex and good amounts of lesbian fuck for the buck, you could do far worse than this one, making Strap It On 6 even better than Strap It On 3 that I saw so long ago. Juan does better with more traditional gonzo but his expansion into all aspects of the field with titles such as this one prove he is more than a one trick pony so check it out.
