Extra's: The best extra was easily the 10:43 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that consisted of clips from the movie and some interviews. It was not credited to anyone but sounded like Zak Wylde was one of the cameramen asking questions. It added some fun, gave some background on the gals for the usual internet stalkers, and provided some of the photoshoot material as well but never really provided a lot of meat to work with. There was a photogallery, a pop shot recap, and a slipcover for the DVD case too.

Audio/Video Quality: The Girl Next Door 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Eli Thomas for Combat Zone. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting usually decent, with the visual flaws like grain and video noise generally minimal. I saw no compression artifacts here and the bitrate hovered in the 5 Mbps area most of the time that I paid attention to it. The composition of the camera angles was almost always solid in terms of making the gals look their best but Eli has a way to go before earning the kind of accolades his peers have proven worthy of over time. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio in 192 Kbps was basic in most ways with little separation and limited dynamic range but it didn't get in the way of the heat when it appeared in the action either. The music wasn't a factor and while I thought a bit more polishing up of the visual and auditory experience might've made the DVD even better, the laws of diminishing returns applied here as much as in other gonzo releases of late.

Body of Review: Eli Thomas is one of the newest directors for Combat Zone that I've been privy to reviewing the work of. His first title making it to me was The Girl Next Door 4; a series devoted to newcomers in porn which is special given the entire company follows this dynamic on almost all of their works these days (excluding their MILF titles of course). I generally pass up newcomer titles since the lack of experience shows in most porn these days; the majority of ladies proving to be as passive as can be which does nothing for me unless I'm the one doing the fucking. This time, the gals were all attractive, lean, and sexually skilled to the point that I didn't care what the title was because they were doing it all with some nice moves. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

The extras were light but the technical qualities were actually better than expected, only a few areas needing some polish from what I could tell so I rated the DVD as Recommended. In short, The Girl Next Door 4 had everything fans look for in a newcomer movie with attractive gals having a good time on camera; most of the ladies proving to be very new to porn when this was shot.
