Extra's: The best extra by far was the 29:52 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It had a lot of photoshoot material in it and interviews with most of the ladies, each showing to have different reasons for being there (and differing levels of experience in the industry). There was a fair bit of nudity too but fans of the ladies will enjoy the interviews for giving an insider's glance at their lives more. There was also a popshot compilation from the scenes, a photogallery, and a slip cover over the DVD case.

Audio/Video Quality: Double Duty was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 full frame color as shot by director DJ Dub for Combat Zone. The lighting was varied so some scenes looked substantially better than others, a few having a lot more color saturation than others as well as levels of grain I wouldn't brag about. Still, the composition of the scenes tended to favorably enhance the looks of the ladies as best could be expected, the bitrate clocking in around the 5 Mbps range much of the time (though not always). The camera movement led me to believe that someone else held the camera a few times but whatever the reasons; it was not a poorly shot bit of gonzo fluff by any means. The audio was a bit less appealing as the 2.0 Dolby Digital English movie showed the usual 192 Kbps bitrate with no separation, limited dynamic range, and a droning musical score at the beginning of each scene that disappeared in no time (thankfully enough). Still, I could hear the voices of the cast, along with background noises and directions barked out, so your mileage may vary considerably.

Body of Review: DJ Dub is one of the newest directors for Combat Zone these days. As a slew of newcomers try to make the cut, company owner Dion Giarrusso continually searches for the kind that know how to make mountains out of molehills, churn straw into gold, and otherwise apply a modern day form of alchemy to make the best scenes with minimal input. The company is almost always focused on using the youngest or newest gals in the industry for their movies, making this task even harder as the ladies have little fanbase support in their quest to impress. The latest offering by this director is Double Duty, a set of five double penetration scenes with gals that were not at all accustomed to doing them. Applying the newcomer dynamic, this is supposed to give a fresh new look at the subgenre of hardcore sex, appealing mainly to those of us needing an extra bit of kink to get us through the scenes with pud in hand. If you're still interested, here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Further, some of the ladies had a little spark going for them that could translate into something deeper if given the chance to germinate, making Double Duty just good enough to get a rating of Recommended. I don't think this was the best niche for the company to shoot for given their reliance on newcomers but it does prove they won't shy away from using domestic ladies in their harsher offerings; and use them fairly well.
