It varies in style throughout the movie and it balanced out to help each of the scenes. There is a touch of grain and some pixilation that popped up, not very noticeable. The lighting also varies throughout the movie, although at time it helps set the moods in the scenes.

Currently, many Penthouse DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with several stores offering them for around $20. Currently from what I see competing with Playgirl in the women's erotic category. Penthouse has the experience of some great writers and producers like Randy Spears, Kelly Holland , which makes for a great adult chic flick. The letters chosen were worked in nicely and brought together a nice variation of romance and every day fantasies. The technical aspects are very good and the extras did show some good effort from before, which does help out the overall DVD. As for the sex and chemistry with the couples, three out of the six scenes had that intense passion and drive that could have been even hotter still. The steamy erotic passion wasn't as steamy as other Penthouse titles and disappointed me to say the least. It seems that the scenes were rushed in order to get the title out on the market sooner. In one of the letters, a women (Aurora Snow) writes in about her encounter with a Marine who is willing to cater to her every need but the male talent Christian didn't do it for me. Who they should have casted for that role was Charles Dera. Christian might have wait it takes to turn some ladies on but to me he is more of a killer of a erotic buzz than anything else. Service with a Smile did a great disservice with too many hands in the pot all trying to make the best out of a mix of scenes/letters. In another letter sent in you saw the eye contact with the two performers and he was making sure that he had her totally turned on before he proceeded. Eye contact and having the two performers into each other and the scene is what I myself as a viewer look for. I'll let you be the judge of it when you Rent It. The last three Penthouse Titles that I had the pleasure of watching: Hot Pink,
