Extras: The best extra was the 10:48 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage. The emphasis was on providing nudity and more sex (the dog chasing the anal toys was hilarious though). Audio/Video Quality: Anal Acrobats was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jay Sin for Evil Angel under their Buttman Magazine Choice line. The bitrate was usually in the mid to upper 3 Mbps range but the basic lighting covered the action fairly well so there were not a lot of shadows around during the four scenes. The flesh tones were slightly too saturated and the composition of the shots was not always the best for the ladies but the anal tricks that so fascinated director Jay Sin were obviously the most important thing to capture for him; the wacky fun a bit much at times for my sensibilities. Still, the action was clearly recorded and the raw energy of the cast was caught better than I expected; making it a decent looking fuck flick in most ways. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 192 Kbps bitrate; the lack of separation and dynamic range meaning the audio was a bit flatter than hoped for. It was low end audio for the most part but given the fetish niche of the movie, this is to be expected.

Body of Review: Jay Sin is the latest direct at Evil Angel under their Buttman Choice program to test out new talent. As with other’s in the series, his work was mostly fetish related in his most recent outing for the company; Anal Acrobats. The idea behind the four scenes was to showcase nasty anal sex with a lot of toys (often balls but not limited to them) used on the back doors of the female cast. There was some significant tease going on here at times but much of it relating to the toys was repetitious and therefore weaker than expected. Still, anal fiends might appreciate all the circus act sex taking place here more than I seemed to if that’s what you’re into. Here’s a brief glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Dana DeArmond, the popular internet gal in a bunny outfit on the top of the front cover, was up first with cute Sasha Grey; the gal on the lower portion of the cover. Scene Three: Lucy Taylor and Sandra Parker, both wearing neon green outfits with precious little material to them, were up next in a colorful room that looked like it either came out of the late 1960’s or was inspired by the game “Twister”. The faked porn moans were not too offensive but the scene dynamic was largely a replay of the first scene so it lost points for limited creativity as well as a lack of heat. Scene Four: Sophie Dee, Julie Night, and Andrew Andretti, were up last and their scene started at just after the two hour mark in the movie. Sophie had a white top on, Julie a pink top, and both wore white tube sox with their skimpy blue jean shorts. The ladies initially played with a large gumball straight out of the machine, moving to taste testing each other’s titties before eating each other out in a 69 position. The face sitting was kind of fun but even though I thought the gals had chemistry, the sexual antics appeared to be nothing new. I expected the emphasis to remain on anal and oral but the same old “tricks with balls” act was boring by now. That some green goop was used as anal lubricant was gross too and the sword sized dildo did nothing for me. Julie’s limits were pushed more than Sophie’s but the tired act was then replaced by third tier mope squad member Andrew giving the dick to the gals who savored their oral experience with him even though he was small compared to what they had been using. Summary: Anal Acrobats by director Jay Sin for Evil Angel was an example of how a formulaic approach doesn’t always work so well. The technical values were pretty decent and the cast was appealing to me (at least the ladies were) but as with many other things, a little of the toy play went a very long way and got stale after awhile. The warm start then changed to a mediocre middle and ending so I rated it as a Rent It. In short, Anal Acrobats was less about the cunning array of stunts than the stunning array of... well, you get my drift. For the fetish obsessed fan of anal and balls, this will be a great deal of fun but for the rest of you, it was lacking in replay value needed to elevate the score.
