Audio/Video Quality: Lord of Asses X was presented in a 1.33:1 full frame color offering as shot by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures. Most of the camera work was done by Craig Daze with the bedroom ending up as the generic location where the sex took place. The video maintained a bitrate of mid 5 Mbps most of the time, reducing the obvious compression artifacts to almost none and each scene looked the same given it was just Craig and Tom here (Craig took charge while Tom was busy in front of the camera). The composition of the scenes was consistent too with the limited bedroom sex after the fun tease montages shot around the house & pool. The editing was generally decent, showing more skill than the last time I checked out one of his movies for review. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering at 192 Kbps. There was no noticeable separation between the tracks and the dynamic range was limited but I could hear the ladies and the music was not a factor once the scenes started in earnest.

Body of Review: Tom Byron has been celebrating his return to directing with numerous solid efforts under his Tom Byron Pictures label of late, the general theme of most of his better works dealing with anal sex. The former Houstonian has been in porn for decades now, growing up in the jizz biz as the industry has changed drastically over the years. Tom has managed to change with the times and now that he is distributed by Pleasure Productions, some predict he will reach new heights in his directing career. His latest title to make it my way was Lord of Asses X (also known as Lord of Asses 10), a series I last saw earlier this year with Lord of Asses 8 that I liked so much. The basic premise is the same as most of Tom’s movies, show lots of tease and even more hardcore boning as the ladies take all that the director can give them. With another star studded line up in store, I had high hopes the movie would be even better than that last effort, the potential off the charts. If you’re still interested, here’s a quick glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Flower, Harmony, and Aline were the best of the batch but all the scenes had something to like even if the technical values were on the low end a bit more than I feel comfortable watching on my big screen television. Still, if you enjoy straightforward gonzo sex with an emphasis on ass tease and anal, you could do a lot worse than this one. In short, Lord of Asses 10 was a step up from Lord of Asses 8 and fans will surely find a lot of fuck for the buck to appreciate.
