Extras: The best extra was the 6:27 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage, starting off with Whitney learning that “Jay Lassiter is a creep” per the cameraman (while he was standing right there). Sadly, she was the only gal given any time here so as a comprehensive extra it was kind of lame. There was a slide show, 5 trailers, some spam (the DVD started off with some spam too) and a “select the star” feature for the ladies.

Audio/Video Quality: Busty Beauties: Jumbo Jugs was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen (letterboxed) color with an aspect ratio of about 1.78:1 as shot by director Axel Braun for release by Hustler Video. The introductory portion of each scene employed more of an artistic bend to it while the sexual portions were largely handled in a straightforward manner with reasonable lighting that limited the grain, video noise, and compression artifacts. The composition of the camera angles was hit or miss for me since there only appeared to be a single camera deployed this time and the editing was often not conducive to making the ladies look their very best. The bitrate itself was on the low end this time, strange considering how few quality extras were included, and perhaps that was part of the problem but it was generally a decent looking production if a long ways away from Axel’s best works to date. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English using the 192 Kbps bitrate expected of the movie. There was no separation of the vocals, limited dynamic range, and more than a few off camera comments easily heard while some of the performers were not so fortunate.

Paula Prado had nice breasts at least.

Body of Review: Axel Braun is one of the most unassuming directors in porn these days, his work for Hustler Video typically taking a mechanistic view of the world as the ladies he offers are generally appealing in an aspect or two but usually not the best of the current crop. His latest movie for the company is a title that is loosely connected with a series in the form of Busty Beauties: Jumbo Jugs; the theme being a series of five vignettes where women with large breasts prance around and have sex with a fair amount of time spent ogling their breasts by their partners and the director (by way of the camera). I like big old titties as much as the next guy so I took the assigned title and gave it my undivided attention the other day, figuring to see if it had anything special going for it or if it was just another movie Axel made to pay the bills. If you’re still interested, here’s a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Leila Ferraz, a Latina with a nice tan and curvy figure, was up first after having car troubles; the abrupt edit landing her in bed with Ed Junior. The minimal tease was not enough to whet my appetite and their foreplay was about as exciting as my own love life (but enough about my hand for now). Summary: Busty Beauties: Jumbo Jugs by director Axel Braun for Hustler Video had the potential of a few cuties to really make it something I could suggest to friends with a love of large breasts but the generic nature of the production was such that I felt only a rating of Skip It was adequate to display my discontent. With all the great titles the company has released over the years, this one fell short on technical as well as casting aspects by comparison and there was simply too little material worth caring about to rate it anything higher. In short, Busty Beauties: Jumbo Jugs sounded a lot better than it played but die hard fans of the cast might want to give it a look if they find a rental outlet with midweek specials.
