Extra's: The best extra was the 10:44 minute series of strip tease dances by the gals that allowed them to get frisky without any men around. Audio/Video Quality: Apple Bottomz 4 was presented in a fair 1.78:1 ratio non-anamorphic letterboxed widescreen color as shot by director Chris Streams for Zero Tolerance. The lighting was almost always handled nicely, limiting the grain and other visual flaws in the open settings of the house (the living room for the most part) as well as outside. The composition of the shots was largely enhancing to the ladies as they diddled themselves or took on their partners with a few spots in need of fill lighting but otherwise covering up most of their minor flaws. There were no compression artifacts (perhaps thanks to the bitrate hovering in the mid to upper 5 Mbps range most of the time) and the fleshtones were very accurate, making this one visually appealing to me if not the very best I've seen from Chris in the past. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio (in 192 Kbps) was a bit more basic with no separation or major dynamic range but I could always hear what was said and the music didn't interfere with my viewing pleasure. For those who care, there was also the dubbed Spanish track too.

Body of Review: Chris Streams has been around the porn block for years now, working at various companies until a long term stint at Zero Tolerance recently ended in favor of him chasing the brass ring over at Jules Jordan Video. Working for someone else has good points and bad points, both tied to whoever the boss is at the moment. Now that he is going to work for himself, he can’t blame others for any failures and the thought of a steady check is history but from what I’ve seen of his work, I think he’s going to really set the world on fire since his better titles are often among the best wherever he has worked. One of his recent releases shot while at ZT is a hot little title called Apple Bottomz 4, the sequel to Apple Bottomz 3 and other volumes that found a lot of fans happily stroking off to the rounded rumps Chris would provide for them. The quality of the sex and the ladies aside, his camera work and technical skill seemed to assist in making the series something special so I was glad that the seeming embargo of screeners ended with this one last week for me to see what they were up to. Scene One: Alexis Texas, the hot looking blond featured on the front cover, was first up and this was an excellent choice to begin the movie with in my opinion. In short, Chris is on the way up the porn pantheon now that he’s branching off to do his own thing with JJV, but many of us will always remember how he developed his skills while at Zero Tolerance shooting titles like Apple Bottomz 4 and Apple Bottomz 3, fans of asses finding both worth looking for.
