Extra's: The 11:05 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamal Johnson was cute, establishing a set up much like many of the violent exploitation movies from the 60’s and 70’s but using those cute pop up videos so many of us find amusing. I really liked Brianna’s “moose knuckle” too; larger than a mere cameltoe as suggested with Brianna looking bigger than usual. There was also the usual extras with stuff like a biography for the lovely Katsuni, a slideshow, a photogallery, a pop shot compilation from the scenes as well as trailers to shows like Pirates II, Island Fever 4, Cockasian, Deeper 4, Jack’s Playground 32, Teagan’s Juice, Pirates, and the usual Virtual Sex titles like Virtual Sex with Shay Jordan, Virtual Sex with Kira Kener, Virtual Sex with Jana Cova, Virtual Sex with Mercedez, Virtual Sex with Sophia Santi, Virtual Sex with Teagan Presley, Virtual Sex with Jesse Jane, and Virtual Sex with Nikki Tyler; being all that the DVD contained.

Audio/Video Quality: Naked Aces 3 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground later this month. The lighting was solid here, as expected given this was Robby's standard type of gonzo, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. While I generally prefer flood lighting in my gonzo porn, Robby has a way of showing it all with less light, the tint of the colors only slightly off as a result and his use of industry veteran Ralph Parfait as a second cameraman was pretty interesting too. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question; using an appealing visual device at the beginning of the scenes to look like an old film print of cheesy movies (nice touch; it’s worked before too). The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby (allowing the talented Nick "The Wiz" P. the task of cleaning up the goofs with the editing and music again) with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts (the bitrate varying but often staying near the mid 6 Mbps range). The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using 384 Kbps) with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the other Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels, if any, the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show.

Body of Review: Naked Aces 1 and Naked Aces 2 were a couple of titles in a series I reviewed last year that showed how a series could be so different from one volume to the next, perhaps mystifying director Robby D. and the team at Digital Playground (or perhaps not). I took some flack for the reviews, some suggesting that guns have no place in porn while others thinking I didn’t “get” the first volume nearly as well as the second. Knowing the end result of anything that panders to too many groups is mediocrity, I dug right into the latest volume of the show when it arrived to see if the upcoming Naked Aces 3 was either as good as the last volume or as tame as the first; hoping to give readers a head’s up before it gets released in a few weeks. The show is a set of gonzo scenes that all made use of guns, the ladies posing with them and otherwise toting them around before engaging in carnal activity. The loosely knit parody aspects of the set ups were cute enough and given the cast here, led by contract cutie Katsuni, I had high hopes the movie would be a winner. If this sounds interesting to you, here’s a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no animals were harmed in the making of this movie, nor were any condoms openly displayed to ruin your stroking pleasure:

Scene One: Katsuni, the Asian beauty featured on the center of the cover, was up first as she took matters into her own hands to quell a couple of thugs from wreaking havoc; her Uzi knocking off the Nacho Libre knockoff and leaving Marco Banderas for her pleasure in bed. It was cute and her blue metallic bikini enhanced her look nicely as she wrestled with Marco in bed. Their clothes were torn off and they eventually ended up with her lips wrapped around his cock to suck away with abandon; Marco wearing his mask as he hammered the active little vixen vaginally before she took it in the ass. Katsuni has been a very strong performer in the gonzo market for years and her recently released work has certainly not been her best but this return to her passionate self was much appreciated. She appeared driven as she rode him and there were slight nods to foot fetish lovers and taste testing. The ending load of population pudding went to her face and mouth, Katsuni providing some post coital sucking as the chemistry between the pair continued to the thematic elements.

Scene Two: Brianna Love, the booty blessed blond seen on the left hand side of the cover, was up next as Tony “Booty Hunter” DeSergio stalked her in nutty fashion. Tony seemed to be channeling Evan Stone in his goofy role during the set up but Brianna sacrificed herself to the cause, her skimpy bikini not covering her all that well. Her blowjob was very heated too and while not as driven as Katsuni’s, still well above average. Her knob slobbing skills are well known to fans and even working with a guy like Tony, she displays a lot of charm during her warming up sessions. Her vaginal riding skills started off and finished very strong (as expected) with the gal impaling herself on the cock before slowing down substantially to accommodate the cock anally. He didn’t last long at plundering her perfect pucker and soon unleashed his seed onto her mouth; taking leave of her “Great White Ghetto Booty” before the camera faded out.

Scene Three: Katsuni, still on the hunt for the wrestling maverick, then encountered sausage seller Mick Blue all dressed up in his Swiss Alps outfit (yeah, it looked pretty silly but that was part of the humor and admit it, you’d dress up like a goofus to nail Katsuni too). Instead of killing him, she took advantage of her position to take him as she pleased, dropping to her knees to get a sampling of his other sausage (and potatoes). Katsuni again gave a wonderfully sublime performance as she slobbed his knob aggressively, taking her time before they bumped uglies with almost as much vigor as she had done in the first scene of the movie. The bed allowed them plenty of maneuvering room too; the taste testing more readily done as she deepthroated him between positions. She was more active in the anal parts of the scene, cowgirl always seeming to give her the best look in this type of thing. The resulting load left a semen goatee on her and she seemed ready for another round with the panting Mick, looking up at him as she provided even more post coital sucking.

Scene Four: Jandi Jin, the exotic looking gal on the right side of the front cover wearing the American Indian garb, was up next as she tried a tomahawk chop to end the career of “Macho” as played by Marco Banderas. He overpowered her and the two went to the floor, kissing and orally attacking one another without much dialogue (I like dirty talk but her mouth was full most of the time). While it was clear she was no stranger to having a cock in her mouth, her oral skills were not as solid as the previous gals, not to say anyone out there should ever turn her down if she wants to suck their dick. The pair kissed and the camera followed in a bit too closely to catch it all but he drilled her mighty hard and she eventually left her passive state behind as she started getting into the action on top of his lap (at least a little bit). It was a vaginal-only scene and she did do some taste testing, Marco giving her a limited load to her ass to end their pairing.

Scene Five: Abbey Brooks, a busty blond with a great body for those that like curvy women as much as I do, was up last with terrorist Tommy Gunn; the pair getting clean in the bathtub after their initial encounter. I’m not a fan of implants and she was not as skilled orally as the rest of the cast but she definitely has potential if she can tone down the fake porn performance attitude she so willingly embraced here. The vaginal screwing in the tub was messy due to the water but her propensity to do PTM was a nice touch; even if the sex ended far too soon with the mouth pop. For the record, her last penetrative position showed how active a rider she can be, handled outside of the tub on the bathroom floor.

Summary: Naked Aces 3 by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground in a few weeks was a nice showcase for Katsuni as the gal shined repeatedly in her scenes. The other ladies were a varied bunch but there was enough strokability, replay value, and fuck for the buck to merit a rating of Recommended from me, some of you into guns maybe considering it even better than that. The humorous elements were corny but managed to make me laugh more than a few times, even when I watched the movie a second time to write this review so if you liked the previous volumes in the series, you are almost assuredly going to enjoy this one too. In short, Naked Aces 3 had all the elements of a winner for fans of comedic porn without the generic presentation so many other directors rely on so give it a look even if you aren’t a fan of Katsuni (yet!).
