Extra's: The 6:11 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamal Johnson was cute, establishing Adrianna Lynn as a playful hotty even before the movie began. Nick P’s sense of humor reigned here so if you like to laugh, it was short but sweet (Nick sparing no one, as usual, skewering all in sight). Audio/Video Quality: Deeper 9: Adrianna Lynn was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground next month. The lighting was solid here, as expected given this was Robby's standard type of gonzo, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. While I generally prefer flood lighting in my gonzo porn, Robby has a way of showing it all with less light, the tint of the colors accurate this time and his use of Jim F as second cameraman a decent choice. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby (with Sidney Michaels doing the editing) with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts (the bitrate varying but often staying near the lower 6 Mbps range). The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using 384 Kbps) with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels, if any, the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show.

Body of Review: Robby D. is well known as the leading director and cameraman for Digital Playground these days; his hands in almost all the projects released by the company in one capacity or another. His collaborations with gal pal Celeste are sometimes less satisfying for my personal tastes but even then it is clear that the man brings something different to his work. In a surprise move, Robby took over a series long credited to Celeste with Deeper 9: Adrianna Lynn, raising all sorts of questions for me, not least of which revolve around my curiosity regarding the female director’s role at the company but this was all secondary to the project being the first released movie by the company starring hotty Adrianna Lynn. Having met her and her main squeeze Jarrod last month, I found her to be an exciting addition to the contract roster; Adrianna having exotic good looks, a playful nature, and a killer body. Not having seen her limited body of work though, I wondered how she would fare given how so many newcomers to porn appear to be lame until they get some experience at their craft, so I wondered how she would do in a showcase role as a first flick. The series to date has been the work of another director so that added to the mix of what would come of it; knowing full well that creative changes can be a good thing to keep a series fresh. That said, here’s a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and supporting my belief that Adrianna Lynn is going to win over a lot of people in no time flat:

Scene One: Adrianna Lynn, the sexy new contract gal featured on the front cover, was up first in her debut scene for the company along with cute blond Lacey Maguire, and studly Mick Blue. The scene had Adrianna as an angry housewife knowing her husband was cheating on her with the maid, the two ladies getting it on in bed before he joined them to make the scene complete. Adrianna was in charge here and the native Texan seemed to like pussy as much as cock though the initial camerawork was a bit claustrophobic with the overuse of close ups. Kimberly threw a party where the other two were the only ones to show up, the resulting discussion the normal chit chat with a slight sexual undercurrent going on that was light on the innuendo for once. They played a game of Truth or Dare and the truths led to dares where Camryn made Johnny jealous by making out with Kimberly. The slow pace of the scene was not to my liking but once they retired to the bedroom, even the substandard lighting did not interfere with the heated antics. The gals spent as much time on each other as they did on him, the oral loving by all three of them enveloping the dynamic before the gals showed why they were hired. Camryn was a more consistently active rider of cock but Kimberly helped make the scene appealing too; eventually ending it by jerking him off to an orgasm with both ladies providing some post coital sucking.

Adrianna Lynn certainly gets the Xcritic “squeal of approval” thanks to her passionate scenes that once more show someone at the company is paying more attention to whom they hire. The other scenes varied in terms of the appeal but there was enough replay value, strokability, and chemistry in Adrianna’s scenes alone that she proves the other adage about her home state; “Everything’s better from Texas!” In short, Deeper 9: Adrianna Lynn was worth the rating of Recommended based on her scenes alone so the rest was gravy, groin gravy, that added icing on the cake; making it one to check out next month when it is released.
