Audio/Video Quality: Audrey Bitoni: Sexual Freak 8 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Celeste for Digital Playground. The high end equipment and skilled crew of regulars assisted director of photography Robby to make this release look okay; a return to the more distinctive Celeste look that marked her flicks from prior to last year where Robby asserted his own style more frequently. In fact, the technical matters and editing by Willem Default aside, I would have said that Celeste might have even been on set for these scenes given how different they looked but for the time frame when they were shot. The lighting was generally solid here, reducing the grain, video noise, and other defects that sometimes arise in making porn on a budget; favoring a soft focus in some cases that I wasn’t convinced worked too well. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes; the composition favoring the ladies and looking like Robby had no constraints this time. The DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts; with the bitrate for the visuals hovering around the low 7 Mbps this time with few flaws but not as low in resolution as previous efforts in related series. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English using a 384 Kbps bitrate; twice that of most porn made these days, with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any outside of the intermittent music, but the ladies were always clearly heard here.

Body of Review: Celeste is the director of erotica designed mostly for women at Digital Playground, her works relying heavily on the assistance of her boy toy Robby but conceived in the devious workings of her own mind from what I can tell. I have found a number of her movies to be strokable but since I’m not her target audience, my mileage probably varies from her regular fans (I might adore the lady as an individual but I don’t give walks to anyone); some of which include my regular toy testing team that appreciate Celeste’s fuck flicks more than I ever could. Her latest title to come out next month will be Audrey Bitoni: Sexual Freak 8, the sequel to more recently shot Stoya: Sexual Freak 7; the movie featuring one of Robby’s pet performers, Audrey Bitoni, in a couple of early scenes in her career. In any case, the series is known for providing a set of five erotic scenarios that allow a particular fantasy of Celeste to be lived out on screen; the heat greatly varying depending on the performers as far as I can tell. If you’re still interested, here’s a quick glimpse into the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in this movie shot back in 2006:

Scene One: Audrey Bitoni, the cute brunette featured all over the front cover, was up first in a scene with pretty boy Jean Val Jean where she played his seductive secretary. Summary: Audrey Bitoni: Sexual Freak 8 by director Celeste for Digital Playground was the perfect example of a star driven title that some of you will really like while others will find tepid (at best). Audrey certainly has her charms and as an oral sex provider, she seems to be a top flight performer (not in the Jenna Haze category but still a solid oralist) though her penetrative sex often lacks energy as displayed in all but the last few minutes of her two scenes here. I rated this as a Rent It for the general audience but fans of the young lady will likely consider it a “must have” that they should pre-order before it comes out next month. In short, Audrey Bitoni: Sexual Freak 8 was not as appealing to me as Sexual Freak 7 but personal taste in the ladies is what makes watching porn so interesting much of the time.
