Extra's: The best extra for most of you will be the bonus scene from Manhunters between Jessica Drake, Carmen Hart, Exotica, and Kirsten Price that lasted 14:02 minutes. It wasn't very long but it added some value for those of you that don't already have the movie so I described it below. My personal favorite was the 24:29 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jax (edited by "Slammy") as it gave a better look at what they cast & crew were trying to do. There was some nudity and clips of action from the sex scenes; the cast having a lot of fun on the set (such as Brad describing some of what was going on). There were nine photogalleries, three star stats, a promo reel, the usual DVD Rom material, and 7 trailers to movies like Manhunters, Love Always, Taken, House Sitter, Kaylani Unleashed, Mobster's Ball, and The Muse. There was also a true double sided DVD cover and a cardboard slipcase for the case.

Audio/Video Quality: Bad Girls was presented in an appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures. While filmed in high definition, it was down converted to a regular DVD so there was some minor grain in some of the scenes where lighting was minimized as part of the scene (darker scenes tend to do that). The video noise was minimal and the composition of the scenes was extremely well taken care of, enhancing the look of the ladies in nearly all cases but there was aliasing for those of you wanting better video to showcase your home theatres. There were no obvious compression artifacts and the bitrate was typically in the mid to upper 6 Mbps range. The audio was presented with two choices, the primary one being a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track that balanced the vocals and music nicely. There was also a 2.0 Dolby Digital track in Spanish available as advertised on the DVD case but I have yet to hear from anyone that likes the problematic dubs so listen a bit if you want some laughs. Otherwise, the audio seemed to be another step in the right direction for Wicked Pictures, even though the vocals were almost certainly recorded in monaural or dubbed in later (not to mention limited in scope). Still, the music was well done and the overall quality of the audio was better than average as well (much better in a few scenes).

Body of Review: Brad Armstrong is easily the lead director at Wicked Pictures these days in terms of making quality features. This is not a slight to his peers at the company so much as an even handed observation that none of the others have proven to be able to handle the bigger projects at the company without substantial assistance, except maybe Jonathan Morgan. The others are relegated to the small budget movies most of the time; catering to those of us that still appreciate feature porn. Well, Brad also makes a handful of vignette driven releases each year, the latest of which is the recently released Bad Girls. The unrelated scenes all display women as criminals, from car thieves to cat burglars to hookers, and graffiti artists that get caught and make restitution in a variety of ways; all of them sexually driven. The back cover said it like this: "Award winning director Brad Armstrong celebrates all things that make a girl bad. They say that good girls go to heaven, but bad girls go everywhere, and do everyone. Car thieves who fuck their way free, taggers who enjoy a freestyle fuck on the bench, a pick pocket who sucks her way to treasure, prostitutes, biker babes and a cat burglar with many talents. How bad do YOU want it?" If that sounds good to you, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting condoms were used in each scene:

Scene One: Nautica Thorn and Kirsten Price were up first as car thieves when caught by a police sergeant played by Eric Masterson in a parking garage. The glamoured up gals used their powers of seduction to reward his diligent efforts initially with a blowjob but soon turning it to a bone fest where he hammered away at the ladies; both of whom were active riders. The oral efforts of the two fine ladies were the best thing about the scene though and did not stop with the opening blowjob, some lesbian antics added in for good measure along the way. I enjoyed how the gals assisted each other too with Nautica the better of the two overall; the scene eventually ending when the ladies shared his population pudding hitting their faces.

Scene Two: Angelina Valentine, a heavily tattooed tagger in minimal street clothing, was up next outside on a bench with muscular Derrick Pierce. Fans of Latinas will appreciate her thick ass and all natural rack but she had some sultry moves too. Derrick warmed her up orally and she gave a fairly decent hummer, albeit a mechanical one. She did actively ride in the three positions of vaginal screwing but the lack of chemistry and energy weakened it too much for me to appreciate it compared to some of the other scenes in the movie. Angelina jerked him off to her face to end the scene.

Scene Three: Jessica Drake, the strawberry blond on the front cover, was up next in business attire as she road the elevator with Chris Cannon, Herschel Savage, and Eric Masterson. She was portraying a great pickpocket as well as a striptease artist, the men catching her in the act. This led to them stripping off her clothing and getting blowjobs, Jessica's talents always strong in the field as she knelt before them. Using her hands and mouth in unison, Jessica inhaled cock really well during this blowbang, taking their loads as easily as their precious valuables before it was all over. I would have liked to see a lot more action from her but she was also busy assisting the director on the set (credited at "JD").

Scene Four: Mikayla, the curvy brunette in a camisole seen on the far right side of the cover, was up next as a streetwalker plying her trade in a rundown area of town to be picked up by scruffy Justin Magnum who drove up to her. The sex began when they parked in a dark area and she knelt in front of him, slobbing his knob really stylishly as her sweet ass hung out for the world to see. She was one of the best lays of the movie in terms of actively bouncing on his rod, the grain due to the limited lighting bugging me but not weakening the sexual passion she was displaying. The scene ended with a facial and reminded me of how hot she is, Mikayla a welcome addition to the show in my opinion.

Scene Five: Victoria Sin, Regan Reese, Lee Stone, and Tommy Gunn, were up next as the quartet played at being bikers and their chicks in a night scene by a club house. The couples paired off and each of them looked the part a little too well, the frisky frolicking by the performers looking like the men were in charge but willing to do equal time servicing the ladies. The scene included anal sex and was another where better (more!) lighting might have helped reduce the grain and compression artifacts but the cumswapping ending struck me as nasty enough to merit a nod all the same.

Scene Six: Kaylani Lei, the Asian gal seen on the far left hand side of the cover, was up last as a cat burglar in search of wealth easily taken before she was caught by night watchman Brad Armstrong in the act. Her freedom on the line, she used her feminine wiles on Brad, the man showing his expert touch as he rubbed her the right way and fed her some of her own juices from his soaked fingers. They kissed, ate each other out (he rimmed her perfect pucker really well), and then boned like there would be no second chance. The vaginal screwing was short this time and most of it done in non-explicit angles but she was passive for the most part and that was the weakest thing about the scene. She did manage to pick up the pace as the scene progressed but not enough to save the movie in my eyes. The resulting pop shot was modest and the sweaty pair concluded their business as expected with him unleashing his wad on her mouth.

Bonus Scene: Manhunters: Jessica Drake, Exotica, Carmen Hart, and Kirsten Price, were up next in the movie's big lesbian contract gal orgy. Such scenes are incredibly tough to get right since balancing the types of sex with the performers; something I have long thought only directors Jim Holliday and Joone could handle consistently well. Thankfully, Brad did a fine job here as well and given the level of quality of the quartet, it worked better than I thought possible. The ladies liked one another without the cattiness some companies have fostered in the past, elevating the strokability and replay value as a result. There were 8 fingers in Kirsten (her first on camera anal, even if with a woman, too). The use of toys and a rapid tempo added to the fun here with the scene worthy of award consideration even if they didn't try to jump the shark as most gonzo scenes would have done (some confuse doing more tricks with doing better scenes, something I've discussed with numerous directors in the past at conventions). I agreed with the commentary comments about how wet the ladies looked too. Yum! (I only wish the picture had been shot on video since it took on a dull, grainy, look with muted colors.)

Summary: Bad Girls by director Brad Armstrong for Wicked Pictures was one of his more modest efforts to date, showing a lot of style but limited substance to speak of. I liked the cast and the situations they were placed in were often cute but there was a lack of energy or chemistry in too many of the scenes; the movie itself one of the shortest I've seen in recent memory so I rated it as a Rent It. In short, Bad Girls was a disposable little effort while fans wait for the yearly company blockbuster but it really did not have the kind of staying power I had hoped for from the master director himself. I also would have liked the ladies to talk more and not rely on Jessica's voice over so much but that was a thematic issue some of you may disagree with.
