Extras: The best extra was a 9:55 minute long Behind the Scenes feature shot by Jamal Johnson and edited by Drax. As usual, it was fun and had a bit of humor to it, especially appealing for the amount of footage it had containing the contract hotty of the day, Stoya. Audio/Video Quality: Stoya: Video Nasty 3 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Celeste for Digital Playground. The high end equipment and skilled crew of regulars assisted director of photography Robby to make this release look okay; a return to the more distinctive Celeste look that marked her flicks from prior to last year where Robby asserted his own style more frequently. In fact, the technical matters and editing by Kurt Tortcher aside, I would have said that Celeste might have even been on set for these scenes given how different they looked but for the time frame when they were shot. The lighting was generally solid here, reducing the grain, video noise, and other defects that sometimes arise in making porn on a budget; favoring a soft focus in some cases that I wasn't convinced worked too well. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes; the composition favoring the ladies and looking like Robby had no constraints this time. The DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts; with the bitrate for the visuals hovering around the low 6 Mbps this time with few flaws but not as low in resolution as previous efforts in related series. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English using a 384 Kbps bitrate; twice that of most porn made these days, with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any outside of the intermittent music, but the ladies were always clearly heard here.

Body of Review: Stoya is best known as a new contract starlet working for Digital Playground these days, a breath of fresh air to all who encounter her from my personal observations. Described alternately as a "force of nature", a "smitten kitten", and a "sex android from the future", she is a far cry from the tanned implant divas working at other companies; the gal providing a new level of diversity for the company few thought it would ever embrace. Having seen all of her titles released to date, I was curious to know what she would look like as shot by director Celeste, my wait over thanks to an early copy of next month's release of Stoya: Video Nasty 3, the thematic sequel to Video Nasty 2. The series is best described as a showcase for the main performer and this volume was no different, Stoya getting a full three scenes, including her reportedly "first" scene with a guy (even if it wasn't the first released). I admit to being a fan of the lovely young lady so picking up a copy is a no brainer for me but given the levels of fuck for the buck, I anticipate this one reeling in a whole new crop of fans ready to see what all the fuss is about regarding the cutie too. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Stoya, the cute brunette featured in the movie whose image was all over the front DVD cover, was up first in a lesbian scene where Alektra Blue and Sammie Rhodes sought to corrupt the young starlet. The two tanned seasoned professionals tossed the milky white hotty to the bed and started double teaming her breasts; biting her nipples and kissing her after chastising her manners. Her purity impressed them with the need to break her in, spanking, massaging, and grabbing her neck as they made her beg to be fucked. The contrast on several levels was interesting to me, not just the obvious visual appeal but the domination of the youthful "smitten kitten", spending as much time on facial looks as her sweet little body. Scene Two: Bobbi Starr, a curvy brunette on the path to becoming an anal queen, was up next as she played an "out of order" sex model that bothered Rico Strong since he was in need of some action. The words "out of order" were written all over her body so when he called the help line for advice, they had him run some tests to find her ass was the only body part working. She slowed down during the anal screwing, yelling out as if in pain, finally kicking into gear when sitting on his lap. This led to a messy conclusion on her face, Maya licking his shaft clean before the scene cut away.

Scene Six: Stoya, climbing the staircase in her light brown dress, was up last when she nearly caused Jerry to hurt himself due to her irresponsible use of canned whipped cream. The technical values were solid, the performances by Stoya in particular were nicely done, and the supporting cast all earned their pay for the day so I rated it as Recommended. As with any star driven showcase release, your mileage will vary according to how much you like this force of nature, smitten kitten, or sex android from the future but the appeal to a general audience was undeniable thanks to three full scenes starring Stoya. In short, Stoya: Video Nasty 3 was even better than Video Nasty 2 so prepare to see what all the buzz is about when the DVD comes out soon.
