Extras: Once again, the teases were the best extra, amounting to 9:01 minutes of the gals in various states of undress posing for the still camera as the videographer saw fit to provide glimpses of their assets. The Behind the Scenes was presented as Craig's Corner with "Classy" Craig Daze that lasted a whopping 25:50 minutes. It was actually a lot of fun with Roxy DeVille the star of the show as far as I was concerned, Jasmine looking pretty hot, and a few of the others (like Tori Black) coming across better there than in her scenes. There was also a photogallery, a cumshot recap, and some trailers for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: House of Ass 8 was presented in a 1.33:1 full frame color offering as shot by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures. The camera work mixed it up this time with a lot of tease footage taken outside by the pool where the natural light definitely enhanced the look of the ladies before they moved inside. The video maintained a bitrate of mid 5 Mbps most of the time, reducing the obvious compression artifacts to almost none and each scene provided solid fleshtones that appeared to be accurate. The composition of the scenes was consistent too with the picture not always optimal (looking slightly faded out at times) but as far as Tom's work is concerned, it was shot with the ladies in mind; making the gals look their best for the most part. The editing was generally decent, but not showing more skill than the last time I checked out one of his movies for review, albeit I wished some of the additional tease footage was left in the scenes instead of left in the extras section of the DVD. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering at 192 Kbps. There was no noticeable separation between the tracks and the dynamic range was limited but I could hear the ladies and the music was not a factor once the scenes started in earnest.

Body of Review: Tom Byron is something of a legend in porn, having started decades ago with some of the hottest talent in the jizz biz, gaining notoriety like few others having left his life in Houston Texas for the bright lights of Chatsworth. In recent times, his works for Tom Byron Pictures have gained substantial praise, even making pick of the week recently here on Xcritic. Browsing the internet to gain new ideas, I came across a review by one of the most straightforward guys I've been acquainted with,  Smutmutant, who got me interested in Tom's latest title, House of Ass 8, the sequel to House of Ass 7. The movie showcased some very popular ass so I could see why he was so enthusiastic about it, the man not known for kissing company ass; the end result being a lot of you will enjoy the movie. This has been hailed by Tom as his "come back series", the man having almost left before coming back a few years ago. Wheelchair remarks during his interludes with Tori Black aside, he's done so much for so long that it's always good to see him trying to elevate his game as he has been doing of late. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Alexis Love, the tiny brunette seen on the upper left hand corner, was up first as she posed by the pool. The pleasant music played in the background and she was soon clothed but stripping in the bedroom where she masturbated and teased until Tom Byron joined her. Tom joked about her schoolgirl attire and was soon receiving a very sweet hummer from the lady, aggressively using her hand and mouth to work his pipe with enthusiasm. She was less active during the vaginal penetration but given how small she was, she made his cock look huge by comparison. Scene Two: Roxy DeVille, a former stripper and current hotty, was up next on the couch as she teased in her red & black outfit that hugged her body like I could appreciate. She looked slightly different here, but as I've pointed out in the past, she's a gal that gets better with time (even if my favorite movie of hers was the Girl Next Door flick). She was less a glamour queen here than some of her past roles and Tom Byron seemed to appreciate her a bunch, starting off with a great POV hummer before they bumped uglies like they were on fire. The POV ended when he went to eat her ass, shoving his face deep inside her crack to snack attack her back. The vaginal screwing included all the usual positions and showed her to be quite active, embracing her desire to "fuck [him] since we met", even pushing back to meet his thrusts in the doggy. She didn't lick his ass (thankfully) and she polished him off with a two handed hummer, taking the facial really well. Whew!

Scene Three: Rachel Starr, a Texan cutie seen in the upper middle of the cover, was up next as she followed the formula by teasing in a bikini out by the pool on the perfectly sunny day. Her booty shaking was impressive and the music took on a Texas twang of sorts, Tom Byron getting some footage of her in green undies in the bedroom before the short interview as well. The big city girl discussed her plans and Tom struck a chord when he mentioned her desire for attention; Rachel using dirty talk to enhance the POV hummer she gave him. While not as aggressive as Roxy's, she gave a fine blowjob too, the nuances of her skillful approach not lost on me as she showed her wealth of experience with a dick in her mouth. Tom spent less time going down on her in return but she started off slowly before getting into the action. I liked the additional dirty talk and think she had a lot of potential, some of it tapped here. Tom gave her the wad of population pudding on the face and she clamped up but did not dodge it.

Scene Four: Jasmine Byrne, the sexy Latina seen on the lower left hand corner of the cover beside blond Sindee Jennings standing beside her, were up next with Tom Byron. Jasmine had taken some time off from working, ducking out of a previous AEE to the chagrin of a lot of fans who expressed their disappointment to me when she left them hanging. Now she's back and doing anal, her reason for taking a break varying depending on the source you talk too, her performer ethic not quite as sweet as it had been. Sindee, on the other hand, was as cute as could be so getting the best of both worlds (cute on one hand and cuddly on the other) enhanced the scene from the starting point. The tease led to some lesbian play that almost convinced me they were having fun and not acting gay for pay, leading into the POV hummer where they double teamed him. Sindee was the more aggressive of the two surprisingly enough but Jasmine gave some good head as well, Tom reciprocating more on Sindee than Jasmine. The screwing was a mixed bag though since so much of it showed Sindee concentrating on her aural skills and Jasmine doing a very passive anal (at least until she warmed up. Still, it did not lower the rating all by itself, showing enough replay value to merit some attention, most of the semen spraying on the abdomens of the ladies as they looked up to Tom and laughed.

Scene Five: Tori Black, the cute gal featured on the right hand side of the front cover, was up last as the movie had built her up along the way in the interviews where she and Tom "The Lord of Asses" Byron introduced the scenes. His proposal of marriage did not convince her to toss his salad or do anal but she gave one of the most polished tease acts of the entire movie, the fetching young lass knowing full well how appealing her ass was. There was no interview once the scene started since they had already covered everything else previously, Tori dropping to her knees in the bedroom to inhale his dick. Her blowjob was not the most assertive of the bunch but as a cock socket, I'd do her myself if given the chance (without a hefty price tag). I was slightly taken aback that it wasn't done in POV fashion as the others had been but this allowed for a smoother transition to him going down on the dirty talking dame. Her vaginal ride was too passive as well but that gives her another trick to add to her list of things to do in the future, her puffy pussy needing to be bouncing on cock for best effect. The scene finished with a facial that she swallowed down, her eyes kept open the entire time though the scene not lasting as long as some of the others.

Summary: House of Ass 8 by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures was a solid little effort so I could see why Smut was so happy with it. My tastes are a bit different and I look for different things but the quality of the casting and amount of replay warranted a rating of Recommended from me all the same. In short, if you love asses more than anal sex, you will have plenty to appreciate with House of Ass 8, the technical values and extras spicing things up a bit too as Tom regains his former stature as "The Lord of Asses" (if a fellow Houstonian can't say nice things about you, who can?).
