Watching this guide is a lot like watching Indiana Jones looking for the Lost Ark. Men have heard of it, men have talked about it, and there's even some rumors about people finding it and stepping foot in it, but damned if we'll ever be able to see it for ourselves one day. Anyone really looking for a porno would be better off looking somewhere else. When they say Instructional Video, trust me, it's an instructional video, and one that's even a little more informative and less scattered than Nina Hartley's series. At only an hour and seventeen minutes (frankly, I think hours could be devoted to the G-Spot and its myths), "Expert Guide to the G-Spot" is incredibly informative and worth your time on finding that special note in your woman's body that will make her praise the heavens.
Tristan Taormino is not only just a bonafide expert on the spot, but
she's also pretty damn hot for someone who just sits and instructs, and
she provides very interesting demonstrations with some utterly
informative chapters that first discuss the origin of the G Spot,
explains that every woman has a G Spot, and even examines that the
possibility just because you're stimulating the G Spot, doesn't mean
the woman will enjoy it.

Um... what? I hope that woman stays home. Hell, I jest, but the guide is awfully fascinating and provides an interesting rapport with an opening that resembles a talk show, and really starts off with a session of Tristan exploring the clitoris and G-Spot for an audience of couples. Anyone who really wants to find the G-Spot of a woman should really refer to this DVD, because it's strictly a professional series of chapter that talks of woman to woman finger play, and man and woman finger play, adjusting the techniques to clitoris on clitoris, and with a man who has the advantage of using his penis, and a sex toy of his or choosing. Meanwhile, there are some basic rules and guidelines that not only work, but will serve as awfully new information for any man or woman inexperienced in G-Spot stimulation. Communication is the main key.

The woman can and should tell you what she likes and doesn't like, and when fingering use as many fingers as required. Those are rules I can live by. And there's also some explanation on what seminal fluid from a woman is and can taste like, and how to have clitoral play without contracting VD or any other STD's, which is not only smart, but also very responsible of Vivid. While the DVD does occasionally attempt to factor porn into this DVD by deviating from the lesson to just show a sex scene leading into clitoral play, that's only a minor caveat. Because, there's numerous tidbits to take from this rather good instructional DVD.

Audio/Visuals:

With Instructional DVD's, you need to have a clarity of sound and pictures, and the guide provides both with stunning coherence. The visual quality is fantastic with a wide format presentation, and gorgeous color schemes and set pieces. Meanwhile, the sound is absolutely perfect with every word from Taormin coming through loud and clear, including the questions from the couples. And all the body sounds of finger play and penetration come through with ease. It's quite invigorating.

Goodies:

The great aspect of this DVD is that it allows you to choose by the many topics that Taormin discusses like finger strokes, toy play, and the woman being on top, and it's an easy to navigate menu feature that will offer someone a quick lesson if they plan to have sex hours before. You just have to appreciate that convenience. There is an hour long series of Cast interviews, who all discuss their funny, weird, and cute sex stories and encounters, and a bonus girl on girl scene.

As a man always looking for ways to please women, I think Vivid Ed's "Expert Guide to the G-Spot" provides an utterly informative and incredibly fascinating exploration into the physics of the sexual maneuver, the tools and applicaitons, and also provides audiences with a comfort thanks to Tristan Taormin's professionalism that will ensure easy viewing and leave them with oodles of tips for their next sex session. It's a great instructional video, period.
