Extras: The best extra was the 8:41 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, using Annette Schwarz on camera as an opener while Juan took still shots of Jaelyn Fox but Juan taking over after that. It was too short and served mainly as a teaser, but I would be lying if I said I didn't appreciate the footage as being better than nothing. Audio/Video Quality: Cum Swapping Sluts #13 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Juan Cuba for Red Light District. I'm familiar with his work at Platinum X Pictures/Red Light as a behind the scenes guy and his skills as a full fledged director at various companies has been getting pretty good, even if the rough edges are slow to disappear. The lighting was only average though and this led to some issues with grain, video noise, and shadows yet he did a reasonably good job overall in presenting a solid set of visuals. The composition of the shots seemed to enhance the look of most of the ladies, showing more improvement than most of his previous works. There were no compression artifacts (though the bitrate hovered around the lower 4 Mbps range) so even the mastering of the DVD was handled well and some of you will appreciate the lack of the formerly displayed watermark of the company logo in the lower right hand corner of the screen during the show. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo (in 192 Kbps) was in English but the actual audio appeared to be shot in monaural with the processing added later on (in the mastering part of the process). The vocals were generally clear but lacked any separation or dynamic range so this is an area that Juan needs to work more on (just like most of his associates in the industry). The music starting each scene was really generic but that was probably the only real surprise for me in terms of negative technical matters, the rest being pretty decently handled.

Body of Review: Juan Cuba is arguably the best long time director at Red Light District these days, most of his peers having left during the cutbacks of the past, and to be frank about it; his love of the ladies seems to shine through in almost everything he directs. To me, that is a very good thing as it tends to put the ladies at ease and allows them to give their best performances unless you're into the kind of hardcore abuse porn where pushing limits turns you on. Juan's latest release for the company to make it my way is Cum Swapping Sluts #13, a series I last saw with Cum Swapping Sluts #11, is based on a single sexual act that some of you might find more appealing than I do; cumswapping at the end of each scene. Essentially, each scene has two women (far preferable to the alternatives) that suck and fuck until draining a male partner dry of semen. Annette did rule the day here and the "cute" factor of several of the other ladies did manage to give me pause but the long term viability of the movie for collector's not driven by any of the cast in particular was kind of low. In short, Cum Swapping Sluts #13, like Cum Swapping Sluts #11 before it, was best suited for those of you with a real need to see cumswapped seed.
