Audio/Video Quality: Forced Fem was presented in a non anamorphic letterboxed 1.78:1 ratio color show as shot by director Glenn Baren for release by Kick Ass Pictures; mastered in the standard definition MPEG-2. The bitrate stayed mainly in the lower 4.2 Mbps area but the biggest flaw with the visual aspect of the movie was the lighting being on the low side. This weakened the resolution and there were some compression artifacts, the fleshtones accurate in most cases with minimal tint or variation. The camera angles tended to favor the female domination theme but the ladies were not optimally covered, their makeup handled reasonably well but none of the gals looking their very best. There was some aliasing noticed but most of the time; it simply came across as low end web material ported over to DVD for additional sales. The audio was presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo English using the 192 Kbps bitrate (and 48 kHz sampling rate) but it varied in terms of clarity much like the video aspects of the production; the closer the camera was to the cast, the better the technical aspects were. There was no separation and the dynamic range was decidedly limited, the hollow nature of the vocals obvious from the beginning to end.

Body of Review: Kick Ass Pictures is one of the few mainstream companies willing to explore smaller niche titles with kinky directors like Glenn Baren at the helm. Yeah, gonzo rules the roost and abuse porn seems to be quite popular but what about role play titles and movies dedicated to a walk on the wilder side of life? Their latest movie making it my way was the decidedly twisted Forced Fem and even a casual glance at the cover will tell you that it won't be for everyone; the focus on ladies dominating wimpy losers into wearing makeup and ladies attire. For me, a little of this goes a long way, especially when my female toy assistants are lurking around (them getting ideas in this vein being outside the realm of their needed assistance). The cover said it like this: "You think it's easy being a girl? Ever try to walk in 4 inch pumps? It's not easy, and these guys are about to learn. Samantha Sin dresses Les Moore up for a stroll on the town - then reams his ass with a strap-on like a sailor on the poop deck. Kylee Reese is sick of having her panties go missing - so she finds the perv who takes them, dolls him up, shaves his ass - and slams it in with her strap-on. Scene One: Samantha Sin, the blond featured on the right side of the front cover, was up first as a gal upset with loser Les Moore; the guy coming in late on a Friday night after spending it with his buddies instead of her. She claimed to be a "hot super model" (admittedly a stretch of the imagination) and was going to dump him if he wouldn't trade places with her for a day. She made him wear her dress, applied makeup to his face, and then placed fingernail extensions on him (cheap ones because he was her "cheap ho") before the wig went on. They had Jay drive them into town in his cab, Samantha making him wave at the public before dropping him off to walk along the city street (and ultimately home after she left him). The forced feminization angle continued to the bedroom as well, Samantha waiting for him in bed with her strap on dildo waiting to be sucked. She verbally abused him and he sucked her plastic rod like he was quite experienced, writing the word "Bitch" in lipstick on his face before bending him over. Summary: Forced Fem by director Glenn Baren for Kick Ass Pictures provided the type of material it advertised and would have received a higher rating if there was more extras, a longer running time, and perhaps better technical qualities but the humor was present in enough quantities that a rating of Rent It was fair; aficionados of the genre probably considering it worth even more. In short, Forced Fem won't be for everyone but it was definitely a walk on the wild side for those of you seeking something different. The problem with using the same old losers in such flicks (the males that is) and marginal female assistance is that the vignettes didn't lend themselves to believability as much as they could have, weakening the overall score. Still, it was kind of funny and cross dresser antics have been becoming more common of late even at bigger name companies so the appeal for this type of show is well established.
