Note: This updated review is a lot more comprehensive than our advance look this past summer and has been changed to reflect the wealth of extras and technical data unavailable previously. My original review was pegged as "fair" and "as comprehensive as it could be on a burnt disc without any of the extras or the real version of the movie" by sources close to the production company; this review clearing matters up on it once and for all.  No matter what anyone else says, it was easily worth renting to see for yourselves.

Extras: The extras began on the first disc with an audio commentary by the director, Anton Slayer. He was by himself and often struggling to find something worth talking about, remaining silent during expansive portions of the movie and leaving early, but occasionally mentioning something of interest enough for me to feel obligated to listen to him. The box itself contained an eight page booklet with pictures in B&W from the movie, small covers from other movies and upcoming releases on the back. There was also spam on each disc, the phone sex commercials we all hate so much, but they could be chapter-skipped to pass them by. There were then two bonus scenes unrelated to the movie starting with A List #2: with Jenna Haze as described below and a scene from Cum Stain Girls with Roxy DeVille as well. Then came a 23:42 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that was actually pretty good, Evan Stone hamming it up and the others all showing what a good time they were having, Shawna making me wonder if she was kidding about the craft services or not. There was then a series of text biographies of the cast (see picture) that added some light humor with brief descriptions. Then came a photogallery and slide show, some trailers, and additional spam. Oh, and there was an optional laugh track and the option to watch the movie in black & white as though it were an old episode of the show.

Audio/Video Quality: This Ain't The Munsters XXX was presented in an anamorphic widescreen color with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 it was shot in by director Anton Slayer for Hustler Video in the MPEG-2 codec using 480i resolution. My advanced copy had a time code plastered on every frame but the final product looked pretty solid, Anton's experience with making movies showing in most of the scenes.  The lighting was appropriate to the series "look" of the original show, the props on the cheap side unlike some of the other parodies distributed by the company to date.  The movie did manage to balance the comedy against the porn elements of the show but in fairness, the sex got the short end of the stick (pun intended) here, the need for better sex to increase the rating evident.  The make up was ambitious for a porno as were the cheesy special effects though, giving it some additional humor even as the occasional compression artifacts reflected the 4.6 Mbps video bitrate. The audio was in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo using a 192 Kbps audio bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate for those that care.  There was some music geared to sound enough like the familiar television series theme song, much like the efforts by the folks at X Play, though it was not quite close enough to truly make it in the top tier of parody titles.

Body of Preview: With all the success in recent years of parody porn, it makes sense that numerous companies follow the trend setters to take advantage of the market, many of them falling way short of the mark from what we've seen. Back in the golden years of the industry, loosely based parodies were all over the place, sometimes just spoofing the name of popular mainstream titles while other times going all out to provide a fuck flick you could rub out some loads to but entertain people as well. From what I hear, Not The Bradys XXX is still selling well nearly a year after it was released, most titles falling off the charts within weeks in these hard times so is it any wonder that Hustler would emulate the success of the title they distribute with their own This Ain't The Munsters XXX. The gimmick here is the tried and true take off on the popular television show from the 1960's, complete with all the regular characters (except "Spot") and adding in a low budget laboratory to coincide with the limited comedic attempts. The original showed aired for only two seasons on network television (1964 to 1966), taking the black & white sitcom family to the extreme with an oddball collection of monsters in the roles (the father was a knock off of Frankenstein, the wife and father in law both vampires, the son a wolfman/boy, and a firebreathing dragon as the family pet, with only one member, the daughter, being a major hotty). Taking a different approach to the concept by focusing more on the sex and less of the actual parody elements, Anton spent less time on sets emulating the show than make up and apparel, the result of the end product being something of a parody-lite offering. Scene One: Sammie Rhodes, an attractive blond with a curvy body, was up first as she masturbated in a red chair in a low rent version of Grandpa's laboratory. I won't spoil the joke at the end but she was looking mighty fetching and her toy assisted self pleasuring act was a nice start to the sexual elements of the movie. The cheese ball music and screaming she did wasn't the direction I would have gone but again, it was more of an appetizer than a true meal.

Scene Two: Shawna Lenee, the sexy blond featured on the front cover, was actually a pretty reasonable lookalike to play Marilyn, the gals from the original series (Pat Priest and Beverly Owen) having nothing on her. She began by greeting penpal Mick Blue and dragging him over to the couch, the guy keeping quiet as she pulled his pecker out of his pants to suck it like a long lost love. It should be reminded that in the original show, Marilyn was the ugly duckling of the show and that was pretty much her sole joke for the two years the show aired on network television. Sadly enough, nothing was done with this concept for the parody, the first of several lost opportunities that could have been played out for something beyond a decent, but generic, pairing. After she blew him, he ate her ass and pussy to her delight, soon drilling her pussy as she rapidly rubbed her clitoris. She kept eye contact with him and did some PTM, actively riding him when she was on top. Shawna looked best in the doggy position though, the taste testing by both of them leading to her facial in a fairly heated pairing despite Mick's absolute silence.

Scene Three: Whitney Stevens, a busty brunette playing a sexy nurse, was up next with the mighty Evan Stone in an examining room. Leaving the plot elements aside, Evan silently ate her snatch out as she moaned loudly, her black lingerie parted to give him greater access. Whitney spent more time titty fucking his rod than sucking more than the first few inches, making up for it with an active vaginal ride where she bounced on his dick like she was trying to impale herself. I like it when the lingerie is left on and that was the case here, the desk being the main location of the carnal activity, Whitney sucking him a few times during the scene before ultimately milking his genetic juice out onto her face.

Scene Four: Victoria Sin and Aiden Starr were up next with moper Trent Soluri as the ladies played at being groupies for the musician. The idea was that this was a night vision styled celebrity tape, a cute media nod with TMN (Transylvania Media Network) looking much like AVN in the comedic set up for the scene. It was shot using a lot of green light to simulate the lame celebrity offerings many of us have seen, Victoria aggressively blowing the guy before cutie Aiden joined them. I like Aiden more than Victoria, saying a number of times that as long as I have a face, Aiden will always have a place to sit, her oral skills again in evidence as she showed Victoria how to go all out orally. The ladies shared the cock with the blowjobs and then moved to sharing him during the penetrative sex, Aiden going first and providing a better vaginal experience. The ladies did little with each other though, making it a bit lopsided compared to similar threesomes, ending up with a cumswap but not as hot as it could have been.

Scene Five: Jenna Haze, the sexy little babe known as top talent all over the industry, was up next in the cemetery at night, blowing Voodoo in POV fashion as a trampy little gal with a need for seed. She knelt before him and started inhaling his spongy cock, jerking him of as she made numerous sounds to get him excited, including nods to her own nasty nature. The hummer led to a modest little vaginal romp where she pushed to meet his thrusts, Voodoo only going down on her after he got in some penetrative pounding on her perfect little pussy. This scene was far too short for my tastes but resulted in the facial most of you all but demand, Jenna giving some last minute head as his population pudding landed in her mouth.

Scene Six: Roxy DeVille, dressed up as Lilly (the brunette on the front cover), was up last in a romantic graveyard tryst with muscular Lee Stone as Herman. Roxy was given little to do throughout the movie, left largely on the sidelines until this scene where she truly appreciated Herman's anniversary gift to her. She orally attacked him cock and only the editing weakened this portion of the scene, someone needing to learn how to let the babe do what she does best rather than show close ups of the heavily made up Stone (who looked as much like "Fat Elvis" as "Herman Munster"). Their clothes were off in a jiffy and he pounded her pussy really hard, Roxy pushing back on his dick to enjoy the huge pecker as best she could. Roxy, like Shawna and Aiden, is one of my favorites so I wished she had a bigger role but even the creepy green look of the airbrushed body paint and seasick camera work couldn't stop me from wanting to stop reviewing for a moment to apply some hand to gland action on my own rod. The scene finished up with a facial and while it wasn't one of her best, it wasn't bad.

Summary: This Ain't The Munsters XXX by director Anton Slayer for Hustler Video lacked a bit in the writing department, the best parodies of the day paying more attention to dialogue and sets than this one did. Still, it was not a bad first effort for the folks at Hustler as they learn to carve out a niche in parody porn much like some of the companies they distribute (contrary to popular belief, even All Play Media took awhile to get it right) so I rated it as a borderline recommended and as a Rent It for a general audience. The high note of the movie was that the sex was not bad at all and fans of the cast will certainly want to check out Shawna Lenee, Aiden Starr, Roxy Deville, and Jenna Haze so give it a look but don't forget that the extras were solid and technical values of the standard definition version were not as good as the high definition version so check this one out if you're a fan of the original sitcom or the cast.
