Extras: The very best extra was a set of 17:55 minutes worth of strip tease dances by the ladies. Audio/Video Quality: Mother Load 4 was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The lighting was basic but strong, eliminating the shadows and grain like most of Mike's works in the past. The grain was minimal as was the video noise and I got the impression that Mike spent plenty of time to use the camera angles to enhance the looks of the nicely made up ladies. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual. The bitrate tended to hover around the mid 4.8 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them used to softer lighting in recent scenes but not needing it for the purposes of this release. The primary audio track was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot (the secondary track being a similar Spanish dubbed track of minimal value to me). There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers.

Body of Review: Zero Tolerance has been a company with lofty goals for a long time, eventually bowing down to a pragmatic approach that has worked more often than not thanks to their lead director Mike Quasar and his talented manner of bringing out the best in performers. If I were a betting man, I would bet that his success rate for making a decent porno no matter who he had in front of the camera was better than any of his peers at the company (put together even) and I'm not just saying that because I've watched his level of quality for over ten years. His latest release to be screened at Casa Xcritic was Mother Load 4, a MILF title with a series of vignettes starring some mighty familiar names, not least of which were Julia Ann, Kylie Ireland, and curvy Phyllisha Anne, each of whom have been proven quantities in their scenes for years. It is interesting to note that Kylie and Julia have been in a lot of MILF titles of late (including several at ZT and their affiliates) but ultimately, quality MILFs are not as common as the flavor of the month gals even with the high demand for them that exists. In short, Mother Load 4 delivered at least as much as fuck for the buck as director Mike Quasar could get from the gals, his technical aspects nicely played out and the strip tease extra adding some value for fans so check it out if you like MILF movies as much as I do.
