Extras: The best extra was the 11:30 minutes of solo tease action by four of the ladies, notably missing Teagan. This kind of thing is always appreciated (well, not the missing gals of course) and the allure of their facial expressions sure helped "sell" a few of them in terms of enhancing their full scene during the movie. Audio/Video Quality: Piece of Ass was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The lighting was modest here, not completely eliminating the shadows and grain like most of Mike's recent works of late, with enough variation to add some texture in a few of the six scenes but in need of polishing up as far as I was concerned. The grain was minimal as was the video noise and I got the impression that Mike spent plenty of time to use the camera angles to enhance the looks of the nicely made up ladies. It was not perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual. The bitrate tended to hover around the mid 4.3 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them used to softer lighting in recent scenes but not needing it for the purposes of this release. The sole audio track was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot (there was no secondary track in Spanish this time thankfully enough). There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers.

Body of Review: Zero Tolerance has been something of a powerhouse gonzo production company for years now, initially sticking with a strict set of rules and then loosening them up a bit to ensure access to top talent. Since the company's inception, director Mike Quasar has been their biggest asset in terms of production skill and know-how, assisting most of his peers there in the art of making strokable pornography using his caustic wit and sense of self deprecation so many associate with the guy. Mike's latest fuck flick is not a pirate show or story about angels but a straightforward gonzo that is devoid of fast forward fodder called Piece of Ass. If that is not truth in advertising for a porno, what is? Seriously though, most of the scenes included anal sex and with a great cast led by hotty Teagan Presley (before she went on her "no man" sabbatical), I was sure it should merit a lot of positive nods. The back cover said it like this: "Grab a seat and prepare to dig into some of the sweetest servings of ass in XXX. These perfectly shaped pieces of booty are true works of art, as the camera frames their fine forms. Not only do these sexy sluts saunter their slutty asses but they fuck like frenzied fertile rabbits! They suck and fuck cock with a hunger and passion never before seen. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Part of me wonders why there was no BTS footage here but the rest of me figures that was because it might solve the mystery of what went wrong, the technical aspects of the show about as low end as I've seen from the director in years (the last time it was this bad, someone had placed his name on the cover as director when he was hardly involved at all with the movie IIRC). In any case, fans of Teagan Presley might want Piece of Ass for their collection based strictly on her appearance, weak or not, there might not be a lot more for awhile.
