Extras: The best extra was the 13:09 minute long Behind the Scenes feature even though it was far too short. It had some of the humor from the set and relied on the good times of the production instead of the goofy (but well liked) pop up videos used in Robby's other productions. Audio/Video Quality: Sticky Sweet was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground using the MPEG-2 codec in the standard definition release with a 480i resolution. The lighting was reasonably solid here, the scenes presented in vignette form by the talented director. While I generally prefer flood lighting in my gonzo porn, Robby has a way of showing it all with less light, the tint of the colors only slightly off as a result. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby with Sidney Michaels working the editing board this time. The DVD mastering showed no obvious compression artifacts (the bitrate varying but often staying around the 4.5 Mbps range when I paid attention) but this was not his clearest effort to date. The bottom line for the scenes was that even if it was a one camera production, the ladies were made to look very nice indeed, the high definition version of this quite anticipated thanks to the visual nature of the scenes. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using an audio bitrate of 384 Kbps and the usual 48 kHz sampling rate) with a minimalist leaning similar to the rest of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels, if any, the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show for those keeping track.

Body of Review: Robby D. has long been the leading director/cameraman at Digital Playground, his position there mimicked by others in the field as the "go to" person so as part of a means to keep him happy, the company allowed him to form an offshoot project with Handheld Pictures; a place where he wasn't quite as bound by the established rules and could chase the kind of porn he wanted to make with more freedom. Just before Christmas this year, he will offer his latest tribute to hotty women that show an aptitude for oral loving in the form of Sticky Sweet, with six scenes of sexual action bound to please even the most jaded fans out there. The clever cover quips: "Melts in your mouth AND on your cock" so this "Robbie D. treat" proved he could successfully navigate a production without an abundance of contract performers, a few of them looking fit to be groomed as such an aside. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The mixture of so many types of attractive ladies with oral inclinations was a pleasant surprise but surprises are why fans have been checking out Handheld Pictures with increasing frequency; the company a place where they have learned to expect the unexpected. In short, Sticky Sweet was true to form as the sweet looking ladies got all sticky in their efforts to get off, the technical values making them look all the better at the hands of the talented director.
