She's blonde, beautiful and bigger than General Motors and this disc provides, if not the definitive reasons why, at least a taste of what makes Jenna Jameson special. Ten scenes, heavy on all-girl action, are culled from throughout Jameson's career, presenting both her young, sweet persona and her more recent dom/diva devastatingness. Many of the scenes, however, have degraded in video quality and look pretty shabby compared to today's HD offerings.

Scene 1, from "New Devil in Miss Jones" (2005).  Jenna and Savanna Samson go at it on a rocky California hillside while New Age music soothes on the soundtrack. Good heartfelt licking and fingering by both stars.

Scene 2, from "Jenna Loves Rocco" (1996).  Jenna visits the performance art space of Brooke Waters, who unchains Alex Sanders from a cyclone fence in the middle of the room and proceeds to pull both fellow slave Roxanne Hall and JJ into the action. Fans of light bondage, thigh-high boots, leather g-strings, anal (not with JJ) and cum-swapping (not with JJ) will dig this.

Scene 3, from "Jenna's Gallery Blue" (2007).  A very hot lez scene between Jenna and brunette beauty Cassidey, with JJ providing some highly concentrated head to the ankles-behind-the-ears Cass. JJ also puts a strap-on to good use.

Scene 4, from "Jenna Loves Rocco."  Jenna gets very naughty with the chained-to-a-bed Rocco Siffredi, shoving her stockinged then unstockinged toes into his mouth before climbing aboard for some fine 69, fucking and a facial.

Scene 5, from "Where the Boys Aren't #14" (2001).  Jenna goes oral all over pliant blonde Czech Dasha on a strip club bar, occasionally making comments directly to the camera.

Scene 6, from "Photoplay" (1995).  Twenty-one-year-old Jenna, not yet very good with lines, explains to rent collector Ashlyn Gere why she can't pay and offers her body as partial payment. Tough gal Gere gives in faster than you can say "Nice tits." Long-hair-era Tom Byron, playing a doofus setting up some equipment, is pulled into the action and eventually lets a huge cum shot fly over four magnificent hooters.

Scene 7, from "Last Girl Standing" (2004). Jenna and fellow blonde stunner Tawny Roberts writhe around in a chic living room with fireplace. The heat, though, is provided by the ladies, especially when JJ straps on a dildo and pounds it up Tawny's ass.

Scene 8, from "Starting Over" (1995).  Bobby Vitale is consoling a heartbroken young Jenna in a candle-lit bathroom. Consolation soon turns to cocksucking and a star is born.

Scene 9, from "Jenna Loves Kobe" (2003).  Jenna and petite Asian love toy Kobe Tai, both in sexy lingerie, make out gently in a bubble filled bathroom as the camera goes artsy-erotic with slo-mo and other visual effects. The girls are soon in the tub, their skin glistening seductively. Good femme-centric porn.

Scene 10, from "Where the Boys Aren't #16" (2003).  Jenna's in charge as she, Chloe Jones, Dasha and Sunrise Adams get entangled in a glammed-up blonde fest of licking and dildo-ing.

                                                     THE DVD

While a few of the scenes collected on this greatest hits DVD look fine and fresh, others are grainy or lacking in sharpness. Part of this is due to the soft-focus approach of some 1990s videography, but the degraded condition of the source video has to take most of the blame. Scene 1, though dating from just three years ago and apparently shot on 16 mm film, is among the grainiest on the disc, with the two scenes from "Jenna Loves Rocco" also in need of a clarity boost. Somehow the oldest scene on the disc, from 1995, looks the best.

All scenes are presented in old-style 4:3 full frame. The sound is adequate throughout, though Scene 2 does boast particularly nice stereo separation in the music track.

Vivid front-loads the DVD with lots of promotional stuff -- phone sex ads, vibrator ads, condom ads, web site ads -- that you can't fast-forward through, though you can get past with your "skip" button. The scene menu takes up two live-action screens, but simply labels the sequences "Scene One," "Scene Two," etc. The start of each scene, however, provides the title of the film it's drawn from and the names of the actors.

The extras consist of yet another phone sex ad, a photo gallery and some quality trailers for "Bounce," "Car Wash," "Penny Flame's Expert Guide to Hand Jobs for Men and Women," "Nurse Monique" and "Sugar." The previews, unlike the feature, are in 16:9 widescreen and look crisp and fresh.

                                                 THE LAST WORD

If you have no other Jenna Jameson DVD in your collection you could do worse than picking up "Jenna Jameson Is Crazy Hot." While many of the scenes, some of them dating from over a decade ago, look the worse for wear, you will still get some quality action from the reigning porn goddess. There's nothing too blatantly outrageous in the sex; much of it is gentle girl-on-girl lovemaking. The DVD could be good for background video at your next private party.
