Audio/Video Quality: My Sister's Hot Friend #15 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as apparently shot by uncredited director(s) for Naughty America using the MPEG-2 standard definition codec using 480i resolution. The lighting was decent in most of the scenes, limiting the amount of grain and other visual noise the movie provided compared to some earlier releases by the company. There were very few compression artifacts and the visual aspects of the movie were pretty good here but the encoding showed a fair bitrate (typically in the lower 4.3 Mbps range) and the picture reflected that fact. The composition of the angles and shots favored the ladies reasonably well and that elevated the quality of the visual presentation more than a little bit from what I've seen in the past. The men were all excluded from getting as much screen time here but there did appear to be an attempt to get better male talent to compliment the ladies. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English with a sampling rate of 48 kHz but I heard no separation between the channels and if the vocals were recorded in anything but monaural, I'd be very surprised. There was no music on hand to interfere with the vocals though so there was that benefit but the microphone seemed to be too far away as the vocals were hollow and echoed throughout the set.

Body of Review: Naughty America recently cut loose all of their staff directors such as Eric Masterson in a cost cutting measure designed to help handle the current economic crisis impacting the porn industry. Their work was best known as that of a rising internet company for the last few years, their growth apparently slowed down significantly even as they tried to enhance sales by selling DVDs as a promotional device for their websites. The latest title of theirs sent to me to review was My Sister's Hot Friend #15, a series I have not seen since My Sister's Hot Friend #10. The cast included Penny Flame, Amy Ried, and Shawna Lenee so I figured I would be getting some decent scenes from the disc, hoping this was one of the stronger volumes in the series. The central theme of the DVD was to showcase five vignettes loosely built on couples familiar with each other due to a sister connection, each including some dialogue and tease as part of the action. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Alanah Rae, an attractive blond in a short black dress, was up first with Christian, the two going out on a date where he dressed up in a suit (and acted just as stiff as his pecker). Summary: My Sister's Hot Friend #15 by Naughty America was not as consistently appealing as other releases by the company, my belief that at least three different directors shooting the scene supported by the manner in which each of the scenes differed from one another slightly. Still, there was some stroke value to the scenes even if the replay value was on the low side of things so I rated the movie as a Rent It. With Penny Flame, Amy Ried, and Shawna Lenee driving the heated moments of the outing, I just with there had been better grasp of the fundamentals by the crew, such being the case all too often with releases by the internet company these days. The extras were light and My Sister's Hot Friend #15, much like My Sister's Hot Friend #10 before it, managed to merit some attention so you might enjoy it all the same if you go into it with the idea that most porn is truly lame.
