Extras: For me, the best extra was the 16:57 minute long Behind the Scenes feature shot by Jax (and edited by Jax) as it showed a lot of background regarding the cast and the production, a variety of mini interviews punctuating the short feature (along with clips from the movie). The rest of you will prefer the bonus scene from Predator 2 between Lexi Lamour and Sammie Rhodes as described below. There was a photogallery, a promotional reel, some spam, the usual (generic) DVD ROM materials, a true double sided DVD cover with slipcase, and 9 trailers to shows like Fallen, Operation Desert Stormy, One Wild and Crazy Night, Predator 2, The Predator, Gossip, and Sleeping Around.

Audio/Video Quality: Predator III was presented in an anamorphic 1.78:1 widescreen color as it was shot in by director Stormy Daniels for Wicked Pictures using the MPEG-2 codec employed by most standard definition titles these days (with a 480i resolution). The lighting seemed lacking compared to the average for a Wicked Pictures release, resulting in lots of grain, video noise, and shadows; arguably most of it called for but handled in such a manner that only diehard fans of Stormy's all lesbian efforts will be able to appreciate it. The composition of the shots was often good though, enhancing the look of the thematic elements but sometimes showing too much propensity to move when a static shot would've worked better, the ladies not looking their best by virtue of how the scenes were shot. There were a few minor compression artifacts and macro blocking due to the darker nature of the scenes that limited the appeal and the bitrate seemed to frequently hover in the upper 4.2 Mbps range so it could have looked worse. It was a decent looking fuck flick at times, even for a smaller budget release from the company, striking me as big on creativity even if low on actual budget, not surprising given this was attributed to Stormy and her award winning sensibilities. The audio was presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English track showing a 384 Kbps bitrate (twice the normal rate for a porno) and a 48 kHz sampling rate, it did have some separation between the channels but most of it appeared to be related to the musical score and not the vocals.

Body of Review: Stormy Daniels is the popular female director at Wicked Pictures, her lightweight comedies always managing to show her in the best light, winning against all odds. One of the few series she tried something else with though, was the dark Predator series, not about an alien lifeform hunting humans but a female that hunts other females to abuse sexually. For this long time fan of Stormy, I have found the first two outings to be lacking on both sexual as well as story levels but I was promised the third (and final) chapter in the tale would be "much better" so here is my review of Predator III. Having watched movies from the company for almost as long as it has been in business, I know that the sex will not be on the same level as that offered by the gonzo production houses so when I read the marketing hype regarding how "intense" it would be, I chuckled but also realized that the main group these flicks are marketed to are either females or Stormy fans that won't look too closely, so I let it go at that. In terms of the story, it was as plot hole ridden as either of the others and the sex was more about style than substance but would it work when taken as a whole? The back cover said it like this: "In the final episode of this intense girl/girl trilogy, the cops are closing in on the Predator (Stormy Daniels). She's on the run, but her carnal desires and lust for beautiful women must be quenched. At a creepy desert motel, the Predator unleashes her sexual deviances on unsuspecting guests. Can the police stop the Predator once and for all? Find out as you watch the movie's final scene, easily Stormy Daniels' most intense girl/girl scene to date and discover if they can bring the Predator trilogy to a scorching climax." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Kylie Ireland and Stormy Daniels

Scene One: Stormy Daniels, reprising her role as a criminal psychopath, was up first as she tempted fate by attacking busty Brooke Haven, when the police had dropped Brooke off at her home. Brooke was upset that they did not catch her (or find her while searching the house), the music letting the viewer know what was in store for Brooke. She removed her top and almost immediately upon laying down on the bed in the dark room, was jumped on by Stormy in a black PVC coat and fishnet stockings. While I know Stormy looks even better in the dark, I wanted to better see her and this standard definition release was full of grain, lighting effects, and camera angles that truly weakened it sexually. The main focus of the sexual liaison was oral and fingering by both with Brooke getting anally ravaged by a small toy in her ass. While no chemistry was established in the scene, it was not a bad one but the kind a high definition upgrade might help (if done properly).

Scene Two: Lexi Love, Zoe Britton, and Anna Bell Lee, were the next victims of Stormy Daniels; the anti-hero having stole a police car to continue her swath of terror. Stormy pretended she was a cop and demanded the others make out and have sex. Stormy felt Lexi up and offered up large dildos for them to play with, always staying on the fringes of the action rather than fully participating. As the scene progressed, the trio of captives started getting into the action, even berating the males they were upset at (which was the reason they were out in the deserted area to begin with). Lexi did anal but the majority of the scene was caressing, toy play, and licking.

Scene Three: Shyla Stylez, the busty blond in so many movies these days, was up next with Stormy Daniels after dumping her boyfriend (Stormy making the solution more permanent). That led to Stormy coming out of the shadows to force Shyla to have sex with her, Stormy going down first with Shyla forced to reciprocate. This was done in the dark alley by the motel, the green lighting (yeah, green) coming out of nowhere to illuminate the otherwise horribly lit clip of action.

Scene Four: Abbey Brooks, playing the motel clerk with large amounts of cleavage showing, and India Summer, the gal playing the abducted cop from earlier, were up next with Stormy Daniels in the seedy room. India was held captive in a large suitcase with handcuffs on, her crying eyes revealing her desperation to be freed of the menace as Stormy directed the moment. India gave a solo show on the promise of being allowed to go home, Abbey walking in to check on things but winding up a part of the show. The gals kissed and caressed, soon going down on each other with all the usual fake porn moans, Stormy leaving them behind as she looked for her next target.

Scene Five: Kylie Ireland, all dressed down to look like a hardcore prisoner, was up last with Stormy Daniels, the two giving new meaning to "jailhouse rock". Kylie appeared to be in charge this time, slapping Stormy around a bit as she tore off her bright orange jumpsuit to gain better access to Stormy's various attributes. Kylie scoffed (in the BTS) at the idea that this pairing would be especially intense but that is considering how hardcore some of Kylie's directing efforts have gone at companies with far fewer "rules" (companies that allow fisting for example). Still, Kylie shined pretty brightly as a lady able to take anything coming her way, including the large dildo up her ass during the technical DP, most of their fingers in her snatch, and an ambiguous ending. In terms of the movie's style working, this was the only scene that actually worked; not just because the two were both active and willing participants, but due to the balance of power they shared with each other. It was still far too short to fully explore what was going on but saved the movie from a "skip it" rating.

Bonus Scene: Predator 2: Lexi Lamour, an older and curvier blond, as well as Victorian Era dressed Sammie Rhodes, were up next to follow the thematic approach established here. The droning music was overdone but the ladies gave some nice and heated moves as they went at it; tearing aside clothes to eat each other out and moan like they were on fire. There was a fair amount of lipstick lesbian attitude displayed too but my impression was that the balance was decently enough applied to make up for it, the oral being the focal point this time more than the fingering or toy use.

Summary: Predator III by director Stormy Daniels for Wicked Pictures was more of the same in terms of the series so if you enjoyed the first two volumes, you will undoubtedly like this one more than I did. The editing was decidedly choppy and tried to emulate a thriller mainstream look but seemed to fall as short as the others did previously. While I greatly prefer some of Stormy's fluffy, lightweight comedies to this kind of flick, I thought the overall value in entertainment terms (particularly due to the last scene starring Kylie Ireland) merited a Rent It. In short, Predator III: The Final Chapter hopefully marks the end of a largely boring series to free up the director so she can concentrate on making the kind of movies she knows best. I applaud that she tried something new with the three outings into darkness but maybe a bit of genetic juice is needed to bring out the best in such titles.
