Extras: The best extra was a 20:30 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the shooting of the scenes was featured; the ladies engaging in a lot of solo action in the nude, typically wearing fetish outfits. Seeing some of the ways in which the artistic scenes were shot was more interesting than some of the scenes themselves, a few playful gals standing out as perfect examples of why Ninn can get them to do more than anyone else (AJ Bailey looking especially hot, Renea reminding me of her special dancing abilities, and the crew joking around with the cast a lot). There was also a slip cover for the case.

Audio/Video Quality: Nymphetamine 3 was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Michael Ninn for Celluoid Addiction using 480p resolution and the MPEG-2 codec. The bitrate of the scenes hovered around the 5.7 Mbps range, keeping the picture clean most of the time; even at night. The opening tease portion of each of the five scenes was a montage with rapid editing and attempts at style but the majority of the scenes were pretty straightforward overall. The lighting helped keep the grain and video noise to a minimum, the camera angles enhanced the look of most of the cast, and a fair amount of care was excised in the editing bay from the looks of it. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital with a 224 Kbps bitrate though the vocals were often erased in favor of varying musical interludes that ranged from experimental crud to pretty interesting tidbits worthy of a higher than average rating. The music was not consistent though so your mileage will vary considerably as to the value it did or did not add.

Body of Review: Michael Ninn is one of the few true erotica directors on the market these days, most of his peers having made the jump to hardcore gonzo, parodies, or whatever else is said to "sell". Despite a very nasty legal battle involving his old partners and even the threat of having his "name" lost to them, he fought back and formed Celluoid Addiction in order to continue his long standing tradition of offering an alternative to the gonzo bump & grind flicks so commonly held up as the best the industry has to offer. His latest release is a title called Nymphetamine 3, proving again why he is the master of erotic interludes and lesbian pairings while so many wannabe's are locked in a battle to become a distant second place. Michael has once again assembled a quality cast for your benefit, such attractive ladies as Monique Alexander, AJ Bailey, and Madeline Marie leading others in five Sapphic sex scenes artistically put together with all the care the man could muster. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used (no men=no genetic juice) for those still interested:

Scene One: Melissa Jacobs and Samantha Ryan, two fetching ladies that looked good outside by the pool in their tennis outfits, were up first to establish the formula of the movie, each lightly caressing themselves while looking at the camera. The tease was modest compared to most such flicks, the ladies gyrating and lightly touching one another before so much as a kiss, their clothing staying on quite a while. The action evolved to have them eat each other and use toys, some minor league taste testing going on before it ended with the ladies looking satisfied, the sun enhancing their looks considerably over artificial lighting.

Scene Two: Madelyn Marie, one of the sexiest ladies I've ever met, was up next with chipper young Tori Black (the brunette on the front cover), their colorful dresses (green and yellow) looking ripe for an Easter photo shoot. The sultry manner in which they kissed was strokable and the cunnilingus proved (to me at least) that neither of them were new to munching carpet. The tasteful touches of the scene were too numerous to mention but the gals employed dildos to penetrate each other vaginally, the outside lighting again enhanced a little bit but preferred over the indoor stuff most directors use.

Scene Three: Jenna Haze, arguably the most popular lady in porn today, was up next by taking on cute Renee Cruz, the sexy Latina smoldering to work with the legend. They started the scene dressed in colorful bikini undies in the shower, the rap styled music the only thing I wasn't keen on regarding the scene. They felt each other up, kissed, and otherwise demonstrated their sexual lesbian prowess to the faster beat of the aural experience, the stop motion lighting with a strobe kind of weird though it grew on me after the second time I watched it. As an experimental scene, it was a decent change of pace, the scene heavy on caressing until the music stopped and the flashing lights stayed on. At that point, it struck me that they had some personal chemistry together, the sweat dripping off both of them before they were done eating and exchanging bodily fluids. Whew!

Scene Four: Monique Alexander, the hotty blond former contract gal with the large tattoo sported on the front cover, was up next with brunette cutie Tori Black, seen on the right side of the cover pawing her panties. Their skimpy black lingerie looked good on them but even better on the floor, the ladies making wayward advances toward one another while they rolled around the living room floor during the rapidly edited tease montage. Tori was more vocal than perhaps any of the cast this time, allowing Monique to penetrate her with a glass dildo after they satisfied their carnal lusts for some tasting. Tori reciprocated and both of them were in very fine form indeed. Sweet!

Scene Five: AJ Bailey, the latest contract starlet for Vivid, was up last with sexy Alexis Capri, their eyes very appealing as they kissed while wearing upscale dresses in the living room. They took their sweet time with the kissing too, walking along the room as though they had no cares in the world. In terms of their sexual misconduct, they ate each other, caressed each other, kissed each other, and otherwise made their partners orgasm a time or two. They did use glass toys but only sparingly, even the taste testing seeming like an afterthought. There was a lot of fun factor here too, making it one of the most replayable scenes of the movie for me.

Summary: Nymphetamine 3 by director Michael Ninn for Celluoid Addiction was better than I initially expected, the casting superior and the technical values helping elevate the dynamic more than a little bit. I rated it as Recommended but I could see some of you finding it even more stroke worthy than that, the fancy artistic effects not generally going too far and the ladies allowed to offer some aural advice that made it better. In short, Nymphetamine 3 was a dedicated showing of lesbian loving, the classy style of porn so few companies are offering in these harsh economic times, not quite hardcore but showing more depth than some of the erotica I'm used to so give it a look.
