Extras: The best extra was the bonus scene from "Big Black Wet Asses 8" starring Cherokee D'Ass and LT that lasted 29:01 minutes. The next best extra was the 8:31 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that gave most of the females a chance to say hi or be seen fucking. The other extras were the standard package of trailers, a photogallery, a pop shot recap, and the advertising on the second side of the DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Oil and Ass was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color (one scene shot in non-anamorphic widescreen letterbox) as shot by director LT Turner for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480p resolution. The lighting was good with only a few moments that could have been touched up, Diana Devoe and Arthur King working the cameras fairly well helping out this time. Otherwise, there was little grain, only a limited amount of aliasing, some video noise, and mostly minor visual issues that got in the way of having a truly first rate picture in most cases. The composition of the shots tended to favor the ladies, though chopping off their heads in a frame or missing out on significant portions of the action. The editing was a bit better this time though a few of the edits were too abrupt or noticeable but part of that might be due to what kind of footage was presented. I saw no compression artifacts although the bitrate varied substantially, often seeming to be in the 4.1 Mbps range. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps bitrate (and 48 kHz sampling rate), the separation was nonexistent and the dynamic range limited but at least the vocals could be heard most of the time (as could some background noise). In all then, the technical aspects were decent here and in the future could again be improved by some extra attention but did not generally distract from the heat of the scenes where some was shown.

Body of Review: LT Turner is one of the least known directors at Elegant Angel yet his works sometimes show superior technical values to those of his peers. Since he focuses so much of his efforts on niche projects, typically interracial, they get pigeonholed by far too many people that dismiss him as a one trick pony. I rail against that suggestion as often as not though since he has the right stuff as much as most that have learned their craft at the company (the others leaving for supposedly greener pastures) so I ask people to check out what he's doing before jumping to conclusions. His latest project is called Oil and Ass, following in the footsteps of similar series at the company where the women are lubed up with copious amounts of fluids for that shiny glow we love so much, making their bodies ripe for the plucking. The added benefit of this release is that LT performs with all the ladies, the interracial aspects a drawing point but certainly not the only thing worth mentioning about it. The company described the movie like this: "Award winning director, L.T., returns with Oil and Ass, a collection of multi-ethnic big booty stars drenched in excessive amounts of oil and featured in passionate hardcore sex scenes. Starring Angelina Stoli, Jada Fire, Alette Ocean, Alicia Tease, Charley Chase, Jayla Starr, Melrose Foxxx, and Sophia Castello." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Jada Fire, the sexy black gal featured on the front cover, was up first as she teased in the now painted white warehouse room, a mixture of oil & water sprayed on her from off screen as her pink and white polka dotted bikini hugged her frame. The technical aspects were mostly well handled but it might have been Arthur King or Diana Devoe that kept doing the same cropping with the cameras that bugged me so much. In short, Oil and Ass was fun in some ways but unpolished in others, the cast admittedly easy on the eyes if not exactly top tier performers.
