Extras: One of the listed scenes, the one with Nikki Benz, was not on the disc, requiring you to go to the company website and entering code "phdljp" after clicking on the Nikki Benz picture. I hate that kind of extra and gave no credit for it since it was not on the disc itself. The only other extra was the 4:15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the production crew comparing their still photography to that of Suze Randall (HA!) and the focus being on Lexi Belle (with an interview of moper Paul Wilcox added in too).

Audio/Video Quality: Porn Star Tweet was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Jim Powers for Pure Play Media and released in standard definition using the MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. I'm not a regular when it comes to watching movies by the folks at Immoral Productions but with Jim at the helm, I was willing to check out what they came up with, even if it initially struck me as trying to cash in on something completely unrelated to porn. The fleshtones were occasionally accurate and the ladies were shown clearly in some scenes, thankfully Britney's opening scene not indicative of the rest of the show. The bitrate hovered around the mid 5.1 Mbps range when I spot checked it but I did not get the sense that the specs made much of a difference this time. There was a lot of wild camera work that weakened the production, Jim always going for raw energy over technical finesse, but the close ups dominated much of the action and that weakened the context of some shots a lot. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 48 kHz sampling rate and the usual 192 Kbps audio bitrate. There wasn't any noticed separation but the vocals were clearly heard except during the club scene (the background music causing it to be heavily distorted).

Body of Review: Jim Powers is an award winning director perhaps best known for his irreverent look at women in some of the nastiest hardcore smut you will find so when I saw he was directing a title to be distributed by Pure Play Media for Immoral Productions based on the Twitter craze, I was curious as to what direction the project would take. Given my preliminary look at the footage, it looks like the scenes were all over the place in terms of what kind of sex took place but then isn't that the case with Twitter messages too? The name of the movie was Porn Star Tweet and each scene centered on a porn performer using the messaging service to hook up with a potential fuck buddy under the idea of "no strings attached" concept so many of us appreciate. The technical matters of the six scenes aside, I figured it was worth a full review, knowing full well that my appreciation for technical quality might lower the rating more than a little over the ass kissers out there. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used on cocks for those still interested:

Scene One: Britney Stevens, the curvy brunette on the upper right hand corner of the cover, was up first at a noisy bar, looking for love in all the wrong places. The dance footage was lame though her sheer black dress helped lighten the mood, her need for seed eventually landing her the bartender, the unspoken dialogue calling him "Adam" (though he was either Ryan Driller, Jeremy Conway, or Mike Flowers given the process of elimination). They went to a back room where it was still too loud, the droning music added on top of the bar noises making it tough to hear her moans never mind any dialogue. He ate her, she ate him, and then they vaginally boned in a few positions on a chair. She was coated in sweat from the heat of the room, the mechanical pounding she took ending in a wad of genetic juice landing on her fleshy stomach.

Scene Two: Kate Knox, the blond in the striped bikini on the right side of the front cover (in the middle), was up next with producer Dan "Porno Dan" Leal. He was planning the movie and provided some inadvertently funny dialogue, Kate telling him that Joel Lawrence sent her his way to have her first scene. Dan wanted to test her out and she was compliant with his casting couch mannerisms, the guy calling it "producer privileges" as he removed her bikini and ate her on the table located outside in the sun. She then used a toy to warm up with and she slobbed his small knob (even the director making fun of his size in the press release), her oral leading to a small load on his desk.

Scene Three: Tiffany Tyler, the fetching brunette seen on the lower right hand corner of the cover, was up next in a solo masturbation scene, Kate having recruited her via Twitter. Tiffany was horny so she went shopping at the grocery store, selecting all sorts of vegetables to use on herself rather than get a guy, a broad, or a sex toy. Tiffany ran the gamut of phallic fruits including a carrot, a cucumber, and a banana with a condom on it, twittering at times to describe how good it felt. The condoms were also used on some big old root looking crap but it barely went inside of her during the lame, mechanical solo scene.

Scene Four: Lexi Belle, the cute gal featured on the center of the cover, was up next in another solo scene, this one held outside in the sunlight as she took pictures to send to friends all over the world. The pool looked nasty behind her but she was pretty sexy all the same, her fingers digging deep inside her snatch. Kate helped take pictures but otherwise stayed away, Lexi putting on a modest little show for her to appreciate. It culminated in a large clear dildo shoved inside of Lexi's pussy, her claim of orgasming striking me as unrealistic.

Scene Five: Natasha Nice, the curvy brunette on the lower left hand corner of the cover, was up next looking for six guys to blowbang. She drove along the roadway in public flashing her goodies, Eric John, Wolf Hudson, Justin Syder, Paul Wilcox, and two of the following: Ryan Driller, Jeremy Conway, Mike Flowers, jumping into her car after Justin jumped in to ride shotgun. They all left for the semi-private driveway where she knelt before them to take turns sucking them off. The oral was fun and the text humor a bit better this time as she sucked and jerked their semi-flaccid peckers off. It ended when they drenched her with semen, much of it landing in her mouth though a bunch landing on her chest too.

Scene Six: Tara Lynn Foxx, the cute blond seen on the middle of the left hand side of the cover, was up last (apparently, the bonus Nikki Benz scene wasn't even on the DVD) as she ran into stalker fan Ralph Long at a local gas station, his desire to get a quickie from her driven as much by her laments of a bad date coming later that night. He was all over her in the bed when they got to the house, biting her tits and grinding into her crotch even before they removed their clothing. She jerked him off and blew him too, his own oral on her followed by the moderately active vaginal riding. The scene finished up with a mouth pop, some tweets discussing her love of the hook up possibilities of twitter.

Summary: Porn Star Tweet by director Jim Powers for Pure Play Media was definitely a low budget, quickly churned out effort trying to cash in on the twitter phenomenon but it showed some potential too. The scenes were all over the place in terms of technical values and most of the pairings seemed to be out of convenience rather than casting for more heat but it still merited a rating of a cautious Rent It, the humor aspects Jim is known for driving the entertainment value more than anything else here. In short, Porn Star Tweet might have limited replay value and strokability but if you envision the possibilities of twitter as a means to get laid, at least this flick will give you hope that it could happen.
