Extras: The 27:41 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was the best extra, showcasing some of the ladies during their photoshoots or when getting ready for their scenes. Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, and Lisa Ann seemed to be the most outgoing (along with the director and Pete) but the BTS showed all of them having a great time and was fun to watch. There were also some trailers, a photogallery, and a pop shot recap as well as a true double sided DVD cover and slipcase for it.

Audio/Video Quality: Big Butt Oil Orgy was presented in a solid 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Danny "Pat Myne" Case for Third Degree Films using the usual MPEG-2 codec favored for standard definition releases offered up in 480i resolution. The settings were bare bone basic which allowed for fair lighting that minimized the grain, video noise, and aliasing of the visual elements. The down side was that there was a need for more lighting and a steadier camera. The composition of the shots was generally favorable to the ladies for the most part but the almost random editing seemed to distract at times when the camera would zoom in on some blemish or other visually weak moment and be left in the final product. The video bitrate varied considerably but seemed to hover around the mid 3.6 Mbps mark, few compression artifacts observed and the overall impression given to be favorable despite some grain and soft focus issues at times. The point of the show was to showcase the ladies getting oiled up and then engaging in a big orgy with each other, soon to be followed by the men joining them; the idea nicely applied with all the gals getting ample camera time (even if Danny and/or his editor favored a few of them. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps standard under a 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals showing no separation but the minimalist opening music giving the slight impression that it did matter to someone to add in some head space. The dynamic range was otherwise limited but this being gonzo porn, I really did not expect a whole lot in that regard.

Body of Review: Danny "Pat Myne" Case is one of those directors in porn that truly likes women, his adoration helping to elicit some of their best performances at times. His technical skills with a camera might not equal those of Mike Quasar or Robby D. but there is no doubt fans enjoy his works at least as much as his casts enjoy being in them, the resulting titles worthwhile no matter which alias he uses. His latest movie making it my way is called Big Butt Oil Orgy for Third Degree Films, the surprising aspect of the movie being that it essentially contains a single scene after some minimal tease footage by most of the wonderfully curvy babes such as Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Kagney Linn Karter, Lisa Ann, Angelina Ash, and Sophie Dee, Ava Rose being the sole holdout on doing the oiled up dance. Once this first half hour was finished, the gals enjoyed one big orgy, warming up with a wealth of Evolved Novelties toys before the men took over. It was a simple concept and something a number of you have asked for, a nice variety of medium shots mixed in with the usual close ups, was included here to make it even better. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Kagney Linn Karter, Lisa Ann, Angelina Ash, and Sophie Dee, were up first (in that order) providing solo tease dances outside by the pool. This section of the movie introduced almost all the ladies to the viewer, each of them applying a bunch of baby oil to shine themselves up in a seductive fashion. The skimpy bikinis looked great on the gals (better on the ground) and for me, this footage was at least as strokable as the orgy itself.

Scene Two: Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Kagney Linn Karter, Lisa Ann, Angelina Ash, Sophie Dee, Ava Rose, Mick Blue, Mr. Pete, and Ben English were up next in the main event. Initially, the ladies all toyed around with one another by removing their bikinis, getting oiled up again, and then breaking off into smaller groups before all joining in for a decadent lesbian orgy. This included lots of oral action, caressing, kissing, and toy play (courtesy of Evolved Novelties, several of the toys looking quite familiar) but only lasted about fifteen minutes before the guys joined in. Pete was the most playful with the ladies, Mick satisfied to nail Kristina, Phoenix, and Sophie (who left for Ben right afterwards), Ben doing Lisa, Kagney, and Angelina before the ever evolving line up continued to change. The majority of action included more lesbian play, blowjobs, and vaginal sex though Kristina and Phoenix were even better doing anal in terms of how active they were. I liked the abundance of medium shots with the camera because it showed more of the action taking place, the gals almost all seeming to participate actively here, even if determining the levels of chemistry was almost impossible. The permutations were plentiful and there was something for everyone though, fans of big wet asses sure to be pleased. As far as the genetic juice splooging all over the place, there were facials and ass pops but the action was better than the ending.

Summary: Big Butt Oil Orgy by director Danny "Pat Myne" Case for Third Degree Films was not overly ambitious but had a star studded cast of babes with beautiful butts to appreciate, the oil aspects of the show working really well for me despite a relatively modest package of extras and modest amounts of fuck for the buck. I would have preferred a couple of shorter scenes shot with more cameras but there was no mistaking the inherent value of the production so I rated it as Recommended. In short, Big Butt Oil Orgy was a fine showcase of Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Kagney Linn Karter, Lisa Ann, Angelina Ash, Sophie Dee, and Ava Rose where all of them were slick and hot thanks to the copious amounts of baby oil applied, the end result one that should inspire a lot of population pudding launched by your own hands if my guess is correct.
