Overview:  Hush is the newest release for Wicked Pictures' contract mega-star Jessica Drake. She is the reigning 2009 AVN Best Actress winner. Her biggest movie in 2008 was Fallen. Her current film has her in a role in which she plays a phychologist whose clients are mostly police officers. Her boyfriend (Eric Masterson) is the lead detective on a serial killer case with his partner (Brad Armstrong). His diligent work takes time away from his relationship with the special psychologist. Along with his lack of attention for her, Jessica's character has issues for her dead father (Randy Spears) who was a cop. To make matters worse for the pretty lady, the serial killer has his sights on her. The screenplay by Jennifer Allison is well-crafted, however it does take time for the pace to pick up to make the viewer more engaged to the storyline. Eric Masterson, Brad Armstrong, and Randy Spears are tailor-made for their roles. Of course, the magnificent Jessica Drake's charisma captures the screen whenever she appears on it. A quick note about the title must be mentioned. Hush is the popular lullaby that Randy Spears' character used to sing to his daughter as well as a good title for a thriller about a serial killer.

It is Jessica Drake who gives heart and soul to this thriller of a movie. The viewer wants to, of course, see her survive, but also be happy regardless of who she ends up with at the end. Veronica Hart's role is very effective. Also, I especially like the range in Mr. Armstrong's acting abilities. He could definitely be nominated for some supporting acting awards along with Jessica Drake's lead acting nods. I recommend this thriller.
