Extras: The best extra would be the complete bonus scene by Meggan Mallone, Hanna Hilton, and James Deen from Suck It that lasted 35:13 minutes. I described it below in great detail but I still prefer unique material to a movie so your mileage may vary considerably. The next best extra was the 21:29 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Graham Crackherr, interesting bits like Kristina Rose talking about "holding out" on doing anal for the highest bidder (the age of the material helps maintain a time capsule effect, doesn't it?), Shylar playing around on set, and Meggan giving her impressions of the industry as a newcomer before now-gone Briana Banks added some commentary. There was also spam and a photogallery, trailers to shows like AJ Bailey Experiment, Centerfolds Exposed, In Black & White, and Raylene's Dirty Work.

Audio/Video Quality: Stroke It was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480i resolution. For those unfamiliar with his background, suffice it to say that his experience outside of porn is superior to many inside the industry and it shows up in his movies, including this one as shot in 1080i/60 high definition last year, though presented in the SD format (for now) using 1080i to provide a lot of resolution. The lighting was well handled and this added to the pleasure of watching the gals in play as the lengthy scenes gave them enough freedom to explore their sexuality. The composition of the camera angles and lighting were almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible, Fletcher Martin editing the raw footage quite well. The fleshtones were accurate too and the DVD mastering was well done (if only in a bitrate hovering around 3.9 Mbps), making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards above average though the company watermark will be bothersome to many out there. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. For some reason, the levels were about the same as usual but aside from the added background noise, the dynamic range was average and the separation of the vocal track nonexistent.

Body of Review: B. Skow is my current favorite director at Vivid Entertainment these days due to the manner in which he so often delivers the goods. While budgets are tight and shoots rushed, he generally pulls them off in such a way that I wonder why he is so much better than his peers there but have learned to accept the end result regardless of the underlying causes. His latest release was shot concurrently with Suck It last year, a title called Stroke It that also featured sexy Houstonian Meggan Mallone in the lead. Three of the scenes starred the cute brunette and all of them were reportedly big on handjobs as well as the tease Skow does such a great job of shooting so I was excited that this would be a hot flick to enjoy. The back cover described it like this: "It's all about sex. The tease. The stroke. The mouth. The first penetration. Moving in. Going deep. The twists, the turns and then, since it's B. Skow, a full-on facial. See five vignettes, each with a ball-bursting 20-minute tease, as Skow captures the very essence of incredibly hot Meggan Mallone. All end with a facial, and there's even a bonus solo shaving scene with sexy Sara Faye. No plot. All hot. Go ahead...Stroke It." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Meggan Mallone, the attractive young lady featured on the front cover, was up first out by the pool teasing for a few minutes (hardly 20!) before she is in a living room with James Deen. The two pawed each other and actually seemed to share a modicum of chemistry, both going down on one another as if to make a favorable impression. This led to an initially active vaginal ride though Meggan soon let James do all the work in most positions as he whispered instructions to her. The scene closed out with a very tiny nut of genetic juice landing on her chin, the gal offering some post coital head before it was completely over.

Scene Two: Courtney James and Sindee Jennings, a couple of cute gals too, were up next as they showered together, the water looking good on them even though the color saturation was too much (it needed better lighting). Kristina's vocals added something to the action however, the large pop shot to her face showing Ramon must have agreed with me.

Scene Five: Sara Faye, a skinny gal in the large community shower, was up next as kind of an add on scene tossed in at the last minute. She had no partner so as a solo scene it was evaluated differently, the gal feeling up her breasts and stripping slowly, eventually shaving her crotch in the nearly red tint of the scene. Right towards the end the tint got even worse, the camera moving to the other side of the shower door to reveal that being a large part of the problem. For those who care, the entire exercise lasted about ten minutes.

Scene Six: Meggan Mallone, looking a bit wild by the fireplace in her black slip, was up last with a sleepy look to her as she coyly played in front of the camera. She continued until she masturbated in the chair, muscular Tommy Gunn jumping in to give her a bone of his own as he drove it home vaginally. Summary: Stroke It by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment had a solid cast, proven director, and the right direction to be a winner but it fell short of what was advertised. The advertised 20 minute long tease sessions each scene was supposed to have were not present (nor was it an "all facial production as advertised on the front cover) and that fact alone dropped the rating a full grade (holding a title up to what it is advertised as providing is considered fair game) so even Meggan's overall decent performance was not enough to make this one better than a Rent It. In short, Stroke It was well worth a look or two based on the strength of the cast and the direction they were under but both Skow and Mallone have done better, this one coming across as rushed in a number of spots, their newer collaborations almost certainly better showcases for her skills in action.
