Audio/Video Quality: was presented in the usual 1.33: ratio full frame and 1.78:1 ratio letterboxed widescreen color as the scenes were shot by a variety of directors for a number of titles by New Sensations in the MPEG-2 codec favored by standard definition releases everywhere. The quality of the scenes varied more than a little bit as some were very appealing while others were in need of better attention to detail but I still felt that the overall compilation was handled fairly well and focused on the cutie in question quite nicely. The various compilation series have really sold well according to the company president and fans that have passed up on projects in the past (because they would only have a single scene of the object of their lustful desires) seem to find them really solid in terms of value so the minor technical matters aren't as big a factor here. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting usually good, and the composition of the shots typically good enough to enhance the look of the ladies. Oh yeah, the watermarks were back in case that matters to you (the company name on the lower right hand corner of the scenes) and the video bitrate was typically lower than usual with a lot of scenes hovering in the lower 3 Mbps area of less. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate), with little separation and limited dynamic range but at least the music was not as lame as it could have been in most cases (exceptions noted below).

Body of Review: New Sensations has been one of the leaders in the recent sitcum porn parody craze but for years they were also one of the production powerhouses known for offering what fans wanted. This led them to offering a wide variety of double disc compilations allowing fans to appreciate particular fetishes, performers, or sex act, their latest being Ass-Mania #2 (All Anal Edition), the sequel to Ass-Mania #1 I reviewed last year. The 20 scenes varied in length while providing over six hours of anal fuck for the buck, offering up some of the best anal performers of the industry from the last ten years. My biggest point of contention this time is that a number of the scenes were so clearly edited, though generally keeping the "best parts" according to a friend of mine checking it out with me. The back cover described the title like this: "The 2nd volume of Ass-Mania is here, and it features over 6 hours and 20 scenes of butt-pounding anal madness! There's anal in every scene, so you can dip your stick into some hot & kinky babes including Rita Faltoyano, Hillary Scott, Bobbi Starr, Aletta Ocean, Chelsie Rae, and more! We hope you're ready, because the assholes are plundering tonight... and it's going to be a fuckin' Ass-Mania!" Here's a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

In short, Ass-Mania #2 (All Anal Edition) will appeal to people much like Ass-Mania #1 but beware of its limitations all the same.
