Extras: The best extra was an 11:18 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. Lisa was not being politically correct when she discussed her partners, poor Chris Charming apparently not her favorite guy though neither of them are top tier performers. There was also an extra clip where the viewer can direct Lisa to sign legislation allowing wolves to shot helicopters, a surprise ending for one choice and the other showing her gleaming smile (the total footage lasting 28 seconds tops. There were also trailers, a slide show, and spam on the disc for those who care.

Audio/Video Quality: You're Nailin' Palin Interactive was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Axel Braun for Hustler Video using the MPEG-2 codec for the standard resolution, 480i offering. The scenes were well lit with even light that diminished the number of compression artifacts and grain, making it one of the better looking titles in the virtual sex genre. The sets and props were on the light side but this helped focus all attention where it needed to go, on Lisa Ann herself (and Alexis Texas towards the end of the show), the POV nature of the male participation not altered from previous works (Chris' cock size and prominent leg tattoo make it clear which clips he is in). The video bitrate seemed to hover around the 6.1 Mbps mark when I spot checked it too, pretty high for a SD fuck flick to begin with, a Blu-ray version probably looking even better. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the lack of separation and dynamic range nothing new with the vocals clearly heard and the light music not getting in the way.

Body of Review: Hustler Video has been taking the world by storm of late, their multitude of sitcum porn parodies and titles centering around barely of age ladies always proving to be popular thanks to directors like talented Axel Braun. One of the genres the company has rarely delved into though involves the interactive sex experience; you know, where the viewer can make various selections to custom build their personal porn experience, the company still held in very high esteem for their In-TERA-ctive awhile back. Well, some company genius thought long and hard about what has been selling for them (emphasis on HARD) and decided to green light a project combining the interactive market and the popularity of Lisa Ann playing her now infamous version of Sarah Palin in the form of You're Nailin' Palin Interactive.

First off, there are some of you out there that might prefer to give up control to the editors and producers of the company with every release and that's fine for those of you desiring porn just like your grandfather liked back in the 1970's but handled properly, this kind of show can last as long as the latest Manuel Ferrara flick or as short as you need to "get the job done", admittedly not a very long time for fans of Lisa Ann (the sexy brunette on the front cover) given her long lasting appeal. Now truth be told, this is one of the most difficult genres to pull off successfully but as the follow up to last year's company hit, Who's Nailin' Paylin?, I suspect that a lot more than just Lisa's legion of fans will be picking up a copy, the lady capitalizing on the characterization just as effectively as anyone could do, including a certain 30's Rock lead that has far less sexual appeal than our heroine.

As expected, the show is broken up into discrete sections after a pleasing introductory portion. Lisa strips in a seductive manner and the viewer is allowed to explore her body by choosing her tits, ass, or pussy, moving through them as desired to get the effect you want. The message on the screen then comes up asking you about her masturbatory skills with her fingers, a toy or even her ass, each of them too short for my tastes but again, you can loop them more than once if needed. This leads into her enjoying some foreplay with an unseen male partner (both Chris Charming and Jay Lassiter are credited as the sole meat puppets here though a quick look will tell you the difference given how small Jay is compared to Chris; Jay doing most of the action including the anal, Lisa tearing Chris a new one during the BTS). The decisions to be made this time include a handjob, a titty fuck, two camera angles of blowjob, or a footjob. Personally, the thought of Lisa wrapping her full lips around my rod and sucking it to completion would make me pop too quickly and I have little interest in anyone using their feet on my pecker, so I admit to liking the handjob and titty fuck the most.

Okay, the foreplay over with, it was time to select which position of penetrative sex, initially vaginal but moving soon enough to anal. The choices were the usual missionary, cowgirl, and doggy for either of them, leading to the question of where to bust your nut of genetic juice (which in this case, were not computer generated graphics such as those found at Digital Sin or Digital Playground). The sex between the two ladies was pretty hot as I like both of them and the addition of one of the guys in POV did not hurt the action any. Alexis stayed in character and followed the same basic vaginally penetrative formula as Lisa had done with missionary, doggy, or cowgirl, the finishing choice of where to unleash the guy's seed being truncated to her face or her pussy. One of the things you might find out initially is that if you make a poor choice, the movie ends prematurely (with a touch of humor though) and that the number of clips is pretty limited compared to some of the other titles on the market, also lacking multiple camera angles synchronized to each other. There is no "naughty or nice" option either but the sessions where the gals do each other were much longer than usual too so there were some tradeoffs made to bring this one to market so quickly. Still, it did have some funny political humor and Lisa Ann is always easy on the eyes so I suspect this will sell well too.

Summary: You're Nailin' Palin Interactive by director Axel Braun for Hustler Video was certainly not cutting edge interactive sex material like Interactive Sex with Lisa Ann was earlier this year but it did manage to earn a rating of Recommended for the way it enhanced the production with just the right amount of humor and some wonderfully attractive footage of Lisa Ann and Alexis Texas, maybe a longer follow up in order to take better advantage of their assets next time (though preferably something closer to In-TERA-ctive since that remains a top pick of mine). In short, You're Nailin' Palin Interactive may not win out on technical excellence or innovation but it served as one of the first sitcum titles to break away from the pack to innovate in that genre, marking it as more than just a "must have" for fans of Lisa Ann.
