Audio/Video Quality: College Guide To MILFs was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 ratio widescreen using the MPEG-2 codec with 480p resolution for Shane's World. As is usually the case, no editors or director were credited, the "Guide To..." series having been shot in the past by some of the finest directors ever working at the company while they learned their craft. This time, the vignettes were reasonably well handled by the anonymous crew, the lighting flat enough and the technical aspects such that the action was displayed nicely. The bitrate was also a lot lower (2.2 Mbps) on the dual layered disc in order to accommodate the quantity of footage included, the straightforward nature of the production easy enough to handle for them. The audio was also presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, limited separation and dynamic range noticed but it was still exactly what was expected. The background noise was minimal this time, the vignettes shot indoors where the wind noise or other issues of the past would not interfere with what went on.

Body of Review: Shane's World is one of those companies that truly seem to cater to a narrow audience, sending out performer representatives to colleges and offering up a variety of shows that are often imitated but rarely beat by their peers. While I haven't seen a lot of their work in the past year, I know they have been focusing more on their internet presence than ever before but still found the time to pop out College Guide To MILFs last month. The title provides a series of older and thicker women rather than the skinny coeds usually populating their works, the men in the scenes all too willing to jump their respective bones. This time, Justice Young narrates his personal set of rules on how to land a MILF ("Mother I'd Like to Fuck"), adding in some sly humor along the way. The back cover described the show like this: "School is in session and the subject of this class is mature ass! The sex was generally pretty solid and the ladies all qualified for MILF status in terms of age, marking a change of pace for the usually youth-oriented company. In short then, The College Guide To MILFs played largely to the strengths of the company in terms of short clips filled with humor, sexually heated scenes most of the time, and adherence to the theme of the day so give it a look.
