Audio/Video Quality: Mandingo Goes Deep was presented in the original aspect ratio as the scenes were shot for the titles they were in, 1.33:1 full frame color as shot by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video. The standard definition, MPEG-2 encoded double disc movie looked pretty solid in most cases, minimal grain and video noise barely noticeable throughout the show with the video bitrate all over the place but clocking in around 3.8 Mbps when I spot checked it in detail. The composition of the scenes and fleshtones showed some care going into their creation, none of the scenes appearing to be edited and the lighting assisting in making them work out for the best. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps audio bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, the aural qualities of the production inferior to the visual elements as most fans seem to care about.

Body of Review: Jules Jordan has long been held in high regard for his gonzo productions, the man catering to the needs of his specific audience in such a manner that for many folks, he is their "go to" person for lengthy tease and heated scenes of sexual depravity. His latest release making it my way was only a compilation of his previous works though, centered on physically gifted black male "Mandingo" in the form of Mandingo Goes Deep: Special Edition. The double disc set had eight full scenes and showed Mandingo nailing the hotties in such a fashion that one will quickly realize how fans of black men pounding white and Asian women will find this set of scenes worth checking out. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Black Owned: Julia Bond, Mandingo: Julia Bond, playing a gorgeous construction worker handling the renovations of Jules' house, was up first in her tiny outfit by the pool. She's featured on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover and Jules was smart enough to capture lots of appealing shots of her fine ass as she climbed the staircase on the bright sunny day. Looking for a "nice big tool" she found Mandingo (who looked amazingly like a guy named Fred Foolish I met awhile back...cough) and dropped to her knees to start sucking him off like a champion in no time; showing a level of playfulness that told me she enjoyed her work. I admit that I didn't like her implants but she has kept in great shape otherwise. I really didn't think they had any chemistry together and he did much of the work but I look forward to seeing more of her work in the future (with Jessica would be kind of cool).

Summary: Mandingo Goes Deep by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video might not have truly shown the director at his best, especially given that the scenes were years old as he was still improving his abilities with a camera but there was no doubt that fans of Mandingo should give this one a detailed look if they somehow missed the scenes when they came out originally. While there was no new footage to appreciate this time and the extras were minimal, I still believed that the production merited a rating of Recommended or better, depending on how much you enjoy the black on white/Asian dynamic put forth. In short then, Mandingo Goes Deep: Special Edition was all about Mandingo "going deep" into the pussies of a variety of young ladies, giving them the gift of his genetic blessing.
