Audio/Video Quality: Blow Me Sandwich 14 was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases with a 480 resolution. The lighting was strong, eliminating the shadows and grain like most of Mike's works in the past, the overall look straightforward even with a minimal nod to soft focus a few times. The grain was minimal as was the video noise and I commend the company for upgrading to some high end cameras awhile back, the enhancement assisting Mike in providing some of the best looking smut around. The bitrate tended to hover around the 5.6 Mbps mark most of the time I paid any attention to it (but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard). The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them finding Mike's technical expertise matching the right look to make them look their best. The sole audio track was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 256 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot. There was also no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers.

Body of Review: Mike Quasar is one of the few directors in porn knowledgeable about technical aspects in his field, giving Zero Tolerance an edge over many of their competitors when it comes to enhancing the looks of the performers working for them. While I can't say all of his works are head and shoulders above everyone else in the industry, they certainly fall into that top ten percent for single camera scenes, elevating the worth of shows like Blow Me Sandwich 14. The series has been around for quite some time and amounts to collecting scenes where two women will orally attack a meat puppet's pecker, drenching them in genetic juice before the next scene begins (seven scenes in all). There was added star value here in Monique Alexander, Raylene, Sara Sloane, and Phoenix Marie (among others) but the premise played out nicely as it is expected to do.
