The Movie:

Krossing The Bar is a porno with a plot directed by Jim Malibu for Adam & Eve pictures which features up and coming blonde hottie, Kayden Kross, in the lead role alongside a few notables. Kayden Kross plays a gal fresh out of school and eager to get into the work force. She takes a job as an intern at a law firm and quickly learns that there's a good way to work her way up the corporate ladder - by using her feminine wiles and screwing her way to the top! And she's in luck, because apparently everyone in the law firm is hot, horny and willing to get it on in the office building during regular business hours. That's about it for the plot, but it does lend itself to five reasonably hot sex scenes. Let's take a look:

Scene One: India Summer And Eric Swiss - These two are decked out in their finest business suits when the scene starts but it doesn't take long for those clothes to hit the floor. Krossing The Bar looks very good in this 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. Detail levels are pretty strong throughout though there are some times where the skin tones look a little bit on the pinkish side - this could be a result of the lighting and might have been an intentional choice on the part of the filmmakers, however, as there are certainly a few scenes that have been lit to give them a certain look. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement anywhere to be seen. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it and generally the movie looks very good.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD release is a Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. This sound mix gets the job done nicely. There isn't much rear channel activity except for the score but the music does sound nice and crisp. Levels are well balanced throughout the production and the dialogue is always easy enough to follow and understand.

Extras:

The first is barebones except for chapter selection, but it does include instructions for a digital download of the film, so if you wanna take your porn with you on your iPod or portable device, you've got the option.

The second disc starts off with a bonus sex scene from Kayden's Frisky Business (16:34) in which the lovely blonde stars alongside Nick Manning. Final Thoughts:

A moderately interesting storyline lends itself well to the nice production values and good cinematography that put Krossing The Bar a notch or two above your average smut fest. Throwing Kayden Kross and Alexis Texas into the mix certainly doesn't hurt anything either, while Adam & Eve's DVD release contains a decent sampling of extras and a decent transfer. Recommended.
