Extras: Presumably, this was one of the big titles of the year for the company so it got the double disc treatment, starting off the second disc with a 97:28 minute long "party version" of the movie. This was kind of cool, though an explanation as to the difference between the regular version would have been nice. That was followed by 22:51 minutes of bloopers, the cast sharing in some fun at their own mistakes. There was also a 17:22 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Brother Love that included some comments by the cast telling of their roles was well handled. There was then a 29:32 minute long bonus scene between Lexi Belle and Mark Ashley from Stuffin Young Muffins 8, a pop shot recap, a bunch of sitcum trailers, spam, and an iPod compatible version of the movie on DVD Rom. In all, it was a great selection of extras, most of them related too.

Audio/Video Quality: Who's the Boss? A XXX Parody was presented in a sharp looking 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen picture as shot by director Lee Roy Myers for New Sensations using the MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. The show looked more like the original television show than Myers' previous efforts, the lighting generally a notch above the last works of his I reviewed. There were few compression artifacts that I noticed and the video bitrate seemed to hover around the 4.1 Mbps, the fluid camerawork coming across like the show too. This was a pretty good pornified version of the original show, the director again using editor Gabrielle Anex to enhance the final product. The company logo was always present in the lower right hand corner with a light watermark but it wasn't obtrusive except in a few of the sex scenes. The SD audio was presented in a standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, no separation between the channels, a limited dynamic range, and generic music to fit the bill of the original. In all then, the show was a cute send up to a popular television show, the technical aspects less important than the creative material used to inspire your self-love habits.

Body of Review: Lee Roy Myers is the sitcum parody director at New Sensations that some have found a decent alternative to guys like Anton Slayer, Slain Wayne, Jordan Septo, and a horde of others trying to cash in on the craze started a few years back by the folks at X-Play. Even I have suggested Lee as being one of the better directors in the field, largely held back by budgets and a pressing time table, so I was surprised to see his latest effort, Who's the Boss? A XXX Parody arrive yesterday for review. Without mincing words, a quick look at the cast on the cover led me to think that Myers might have been too accurate in casting this one, the original show airing throughout the 1980's starring Tony Danza as a male housekeeper working for Angela Bower, her son Jonathan, and mother Mona. For many of the younger viewers, the selling point of the show was cute little Alyssa Milano as Tony's daughter, her youthful age making me feel creepy with a parody of a show involving her. Thankfully, the show aired long enough that she came of age (and was a hotty) but here is what the company said about the parody: "Here is a parody so dirty that only one horny housekeeper could possibly clean it up.. or make it worse! So catch your favorite characters (Tony, Angela, Mona, Samantha, and Jonathan) in one of the zaniest, funniest, filthiest sitcom parodies you have ever seen. When hunky housekeeper, Tony (Anthony Rosano), accidentally walks in on his sexy blonde employer, Angela (India Summer) in the shower, they steam up the house with an immeasurable sexual tension. It becomes so hard to ignore that everybody in the house wants to play a little game of "Who's your Boss!" Finally, the couple that an entire generation wanted to see fuck gets to go all the way.. and then some! A XXX Parody by director Lee Roy Myers for New Sensations was one of his best efforts to date if you consider Anthony Rosano as the only cast member that mattered for the humor but the sex was decent enough in terms of replay value and strokability to merit a rating of Recommended regardless of the genre. In short then, Who's the Boss? A XXX Parody showed that the director's skill has been increasing at such a rate that he has all but sewed up the title of heir to the throne for those keeping track of the industry's best efforts. The setting looked good and the camera work was sufficient, even the general dynamic of the characters laid out pretty well, falling short mainly due to the way the performers weren't able to act when not having sex but Anthony has secured his role as one of the best in the jizz biz.
