Extras: For most of you, the lengthy bonus scene from Battle of the Asses 1 between Rachel Starr and Marco Banderas will be the best extra of all, clocking in at 29:19 minutes long. While the cast of that title did seem very familiar with this one though, I still prefer related extras so the 15:01 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was ultimately the best in that regard. There was a lot of nudity and playful kidding around, the ladies often either just finished or just about ready to start their scenes. The rest of the extras were just generic fodder including some trailers, a photogallery, and a pop shot compilation from the scenes along with some spam.

Audio/Video Quality: Battle of the Asses 2 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director Sam No/Mason for Elegant Angel using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. The camera work was solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows so the picture appeared to be in line with her other work to date. Mason has made or assisted on a number of titles over the years, the technical matters taking back seat (pun intended) to the raw energy of the sex, but her skill levels have definitely been improving with the camera too, showing she pays attention for those that care (in fact, most of her current works look almost identical to those of Nutsack). I saw no compression artifacts thanks in part to the 4.1 Mbps video bitrate and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the ladies and their ample samples. The compositions of the shots helped maximize the potential of the ladies too, rarely relying on extreme close ups all the time as some seem destined to do and the editing by Team Royson allowing her vision to remain as complete as possible (but for the fuck up on the third scene with Gracie Glam). The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, the grunts and groans heard well enough but the music by Mybeatshop elevating the proceedings just fine yet again.

Body of Review: Sam No/Mason is not a very prolific director at Elegant Angel but the amount of hits she has for those of us into gonzo porn is indisputably high. Her latest title of consequence is Battle of the Asses 2, the sequel to the wonderful Battle of the Asses 1 that a number of us talked about last summer. This time, the cast included some of the same hotties, including women such as Sunny Lane, Ava Rose, Kelly Divine, among others; each of the gals genetically gifted with a sweetly curved ass that drives men wild with desire. There appeared to be an attempt to glamorize the ladies too, their tease alone enough to get most men off a time or two before the action got even better. In short, I found Battle of the Asses 2 to be well worth looking for thanks to ladies such as Ava Rose, Gracie Glam, Sunny Lane, Isis Taylor, Austin Taylor, and Kelly Divine, my imagination running wild at what the next volume will hold in store for viewers when it is (hopefully) released in the near future.
