Audio/Video Quality: Ass The World Turns was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Danny Case for Third Degree using the usual MPEG-2 codec favored for standard definition releases offered up in 480i resolution. The settings were bare bone basic which allowed for fair lighting that minimized the grain, video noise, and aliasing of the visual elements. The down side was that there was a need for more lighting and a steadier camera. The composition of the shots was generally favorable to the ladies for the most part but the editing seemed to distract at times when some scenes were not as polished. The video bitrate varied considerably but seemed to hover around the mid 4.6 Mbps mark, few compression artifacts observed and the overall impression given to be favorable despite some grain and soft focus issues at times. The point of the show was to showcase ladies with well rounded rumps, the kind of gals that inspire many a wet dream and in that aspect, it served the purpose well. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the 256 Kbps standard under a 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals showing no separation but the minimalist opening music giving the slight impression that it did matter to someone to add in some head space. The dynamic range was otherwise limited but this being gonzo porn, I really did not expect a whole lot in that regard.

Body of Review: Danny Case directs for Third Degree these days, his gonzo style fairly basic in terms of the trade. He likes brunettes and sexy lingerie, especially if they are into anal sex with him and his buddies so it made sense that his latest release making it to me was full of all that kind of thing in Ass The World Turns. The formula of the show was the same he employs in almost all of his movies too, some tease with soft focus, light solo work with tease, and then hardcore pounding anal sex in a one-on-one fashion. Toys came into play to stretch the ladies asses out and they appeared moderately capable in terms of how well they engaged each other, the resulting lack of chemistry in a few cases weakening the overall score more than a little bit. Summary: Ass The World Turns by director Danny Case for Third Degree started off with some potential but it soon turned boring for me, the ladies not into their partners and the men treating the gals like cock sockets so I rated this one as a Skip It. In short, Ass The World Turns could have worked with better meat puppets to get the ladies more interested, the anal play for pay aspects of the scenes all too obvious for this reviewer to forget.
