Audio/Video Quality: Slutty & Sluttier 11 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Manuel focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Manuel's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 3.9 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere. Oh yeah, the vocals were often muffled here for those that care.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara started teaming up with Evil Angel long ago, using his skills as a performer to parlay his success to the next level as a director (he had already been established as such but not nearly as popular). Over the years he has set himself apart from most of his peers as a wonderfully appreciated male performer that the ladies clamor to work with, his directorial skills improving substantially as well. Such was the case in his latest release called Slutty & Sluttier 11: Special Edition, the series showcasing a number of ladies quite suitable in the role of slut thanks to their demeanor, personality, and general disposition. While only about half of them listed in the cast were fortunate enough to pair up with Manuel himself, the general dynamic of the show was always driven by hardcore sexual antics fans will certainly appreciate. In short, Slutty & Sluttier 11: Special Edition was not the typical Manuel fuck flick since he was not the primary male meat puppet in each scene, a factor that in almost any other case would be a good thing, but it offered a lot of fuck for the buck (and retained the increasingly scarce double disc format that is slowly falling out of favor) so check it out.
