Extras: There was a 9:46 minute Behind the Scenes feature (click to watch it) that was decent enough about introducing the cast and crew but fairly little of the humor that made the companies previous endeavors in the field gems to watch once upon a time. There were also the usual set of trailers, a slide show, a photogallery, and nothing else for those that care.

Audio/Video Quality: Bad Girls 3 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen using a 480p resolution with MPEG-2 encoding as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The composition of the camera angles was generally flattering to the ladies, not as fluid as some of his earlier efforts but sporting enhanced resolution likely due to the use of the Red One camera system he now relies upon so heavily. Thematically, the attempts to be stylish were mixed but my least favorite aspect of the show was the abundance of extreme close-up shots, the director forgoing medium and long shots while using filters and/or gels to compensate for the resolution versus the reality of the look the ladies had here. The video bitrate varied significantly but when I spot checked it, the numbers typically kept around the 6.2 Mbps mark. Of note to me was how the colors seemed muted, even on the high definition version of the movie, some soft focus moments and places where the camera seemed at a loss to capture what was most important was also evident. I also found the editing by Nick P., a man that has really managed to polish up some weak efforts in the past using his skillful talents, to be weaker than normal for some reason. The audio was presented in a post-production added 5.1 Dolby Digital English with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 384 Kbps bitrate, none of the vocals showing any separation though the score seemed to during the opening and closing. I did notice that the opening credits were substantially louder than the opening dialogue so be prepared with remote in hand (like most folks) to compensate, the balance off in other areas as well.

Body of Review: Digital Playground has long relied upon director Robby D. to handle their many efforts, only Joone occasionally stepping in for those expensive blockbusters the company releases every couple of years. This reliance on a single visionary has helped elevate the company to new heights but at the same time limited their growth potential for new ideas, the talented man one of the best technical people in the jizz biz. His latest release making it my way is Bad Girls 3, the series generally known for showcasing everyone at the company that they figure is worth something, this volume starring lovely Jesse Jane and cute Riley Steele, as well as some popular outsiders such as Jenna Haze, Madison Scott, and Jenaveve Jolie. Going into the production, I had few expectations and had heard virtually nothing about it, the end result being I was ready for anything out of the relatively short movie built on a mere five scenes. The Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Jesse Jane

Scene One: Jesse Jane, as bubbly as ever, was up first with cute blond Madison Scott and Ben English at a bar. The ladies showed a definite affinity for one another, licking and caressing each other while they shared his pecker, Jesse's power stroke method probably enough to milk his balls quickly were this a real life tryst. The camera appeared to haphazardly record what was going on, panning too quickly and jumping around in a manner I wasn't keen to observe, the abundance of close up shots further degrading the effort quite early in the show. While a far cry from the equally stilted words they shared in a few big budget pirate movies, the idea was to set up the sex as logical (for a porno) and they did reasonably well in that regard). The troubled Jesse gained his sympathy though, her black dress shoved aside to offer Evan greater access to her as she jumped around in his lap. Jesse then suck started his cock like a true champion, Evan choking her as she choked his chicken and then held her down while she was going down on him. Scene Five: Riley Steele, the sexy babe showcased on the left side of the front cover, was up last with moper Danny Mountain, her physical appeal still increasing as the fetching beauty sipped her drink from the bar. The trivial dialogue was again mediocre, Riley having little to work with as she readied to change gears for the sexual action. She initiated it by blowing him on the green couch while he spanked her ass. Riley's active hummer was pleasant to watch despite the lack of chemistry or connection with Danny, the gal trying to interject some playfulness as she got on her knees to please him. The vaginal penetration seemed shorter than usual here as the editing bounced them about too much, the issue with close up work again marring the performance she gave. The taste testing and moaning aside, it ended when he jerked off to her crotch, Riley cleaning him up by slobbing the tip of his knob.

Summary: Bad Girls 3 by director Robby D. for Digital Playground was a short flick consisting of five scenes barely tied together via a barroom setting. For me, I expected more from the work of Jesse Jane and whoever decided the final lineup of who worked with whom should probably get a few lessons given the lack of personal chemistry but there was enough strokable footage (if not replay value) that fans of Riley and Jesse should consider this one a Rent It. In short, I admit to being disappointed in Bad Girls 3 given the experiences I've had with the ladies, the director, and the company in the past but as a slight midweek rental, it will probably get the job done well enough for casual fans of porn wanting to see what Jesse Jane and Riley Steele are all about.
