Audio/Video Quality: Bottom Line was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Sean Michaels for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Sean focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry he offers as a performer in his work. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Sean's works doing a decent job of keeping the ladies in focus as most of us prefer. The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 3.9 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere.
